Sunlite Semi-Rigid Canopy

Great for Oregon !!! Keeps some of the rain off. I am sure it would be a big hit also for states that have a lot of sun.

THIS CONTRAPTION IS A NIGHTMARE!! The quality of this canopy is absolutely horrible! It took forever to try and figure out how to put it together. The instructions were the worst I've ever seen. I had to drill one of the holes of the back bracket to make it bigger so that the pole would fit. Then after what felt like a lifetime, I finally got it on my bike. I rode for about a mile. The canopy was wobbling from side to side like I was in an earthquake and then one of the front poles snapped! I hate that I didn't listen to the reviews. I need a refund!!

As others already stated, this was almost an insult to any intelligent person to try to put together. The instructions were ridiculous and a lot of information was missing considering all the parts involved. However, since I had really planned to modify this thing for my recumbent trike anyway, with the help of my husband and his cutting tools and some extra screws and bolts, we were at least able to use the canopy top and now will hold our breath to see if it will actually stay on when a bit of wind comes along.

I liked the fact that the canopy blocked most direct sun light. I added a light netting, and that increased density of direct sun light even more, for a more comfortable ride.

Can this be removed easy so I can store bike inside truck and then put top back on ?

This can't be put together! The instructions are useless and no pictures to help you. The drawings of the parts are not clear as to what it is. I hate this item and feel ripped off. Please don't buy it unless you are a handy man or something.

It fit together okay and I was able to finagle it on to my SunSeeker trike, but the set screws provided will not thread into their allotted holes. I had to use tape to keep it from popping apart on bumpy rides

I gave this a three star rating because the assembly instructions are terrible. My husband worked in the construction field and improvised fitting it together. He had to file down the ends of the supports to make them narrow enough to fit into the holders and allow the set screw to hold the support in place. It is flimsy and bounces around up in the wind. Makes us wonder how long the supports will last. Product arrived in promised time in excellent condition. Considering the amount of money a bike shop charged for the same unit,mother price is excellent. The manufacturer needs to improve the assembly instructions and retool the supports and holders.
