Really one of the few options I found if you are trying to mount in a short section of wall with only a single stud. I had a space that was between a door frame and a corner in my office, and almost all the rest I found required two studs, or can otherwise confusing directions.Pretty straight-forward on this one, for wood at least. Pick your height, find the center of the stud, drill in two no-messing-around screw bolts, done. It is a little of a hassle hanging the back-plate on the wall plate alone, but not so much a design issue. It's like trying to get a wall picture on a hook, but you're holding up a TV in the process.

My second Peerless wall mount kit; very complete and concise intructions with a FULL complement of mounting options; the kit allows for VESA 75mm, 100mm, 200mm x 100mm, and 200mm x 200mm mounting hole patterns.I've decided I will only order Peerless mounts going forward - the kits have no surprises, for me - they're complete and very well finished/fabricated. The Peerless website has full product/installation support.ONE CAVEAT - WHEN THEY SAY ULTRA-SLIM THEY MEAN IT. A standard HDMI cable will NOT fit between the back of a Samsung THIN panel, say 1.2-1.5" deep panel and the wall. You will need recessed cable management, such as the PowerBridge - In-Wall Cable Management System. This allows the HDMI cable(s) to penetrate the wall. I sourced my PowerBridge from Best Buy - $99 the WxHxD of this cable mgmt package allows you to connect multiple HDMI cables, optical-out sound cables, and terminate two power cables if say, you're using a soundbar below the panel. The PowerBridge is also worth the $99. Now that I'm thinking of it, you can probably source the PowerBridge kit through Amazon.hope this helps.

I bought the mount to hang a LED TV in my motorhome and this mount worked great. It doesn't move left or right it just stays put which is what I needed.
