Love // Normal Size << CrossFit or Lifting - Not Mud Trails
I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and purchased 7.5. Excellent fit. I wore New Balance Minimus in the past but they changed the shoe completely so I switched to these. I'm using these for lifting and CrossFit. These can't not be thrown into the wash machine like the Minimus shoes due to the padding and material but they are extremely comfortable.I've been wearing barefoot shoes for 7+ years for wet mud trail running, CrossFit and lifting. These are great replaced for Crossfit and lifting. I WON'T use them for mud trails because they will get smelly if you wash them. They are similar to an indoor soccer shoe but definitely more comfortable.New to Barefoot? If you do not use flat or barefoot shoes, it will take a week or two to get use to them. I suggest wearing them "around the house" for a few weeks before using them to workout in. (I actually do this to break in new barefoot shoe.) You'll be using different muscles in your feet so if you start off doing intense exercises, you may get cramps or have really sore feet.

Great shoe for narrow flat feet
This is the third style of Inov8s that I have tried to like (F235 V3 and Parkclaw 280 G were the others), and the closest to a hit for me so far. Unfortunately, I just don't think this brand are built for me. Won't stop me from leaving a solid review for this pair, which excelled where the two others did not. Here we go:This shoe has a baller knit upper. It feels quality. It feels breathable. The lacing system feels plastic-y. Tsk tsk. But it laces and holds tightttt and it snapped right up all the slack in the knit to cradle my foot really nicely. Of the three Invo8s I've tried, this one felt most unified in what the upper was trying to do. The heel was cupped. The foot was secure. The sole is just a midsole, cause it's made of graphene. It's lightweight and still kinda grippy. But don't wear it in the wet. OK. It also has a little molded bit around the footbed which is minimally functional in keeping things in line. I deducted one star because whether these shoes are built for me or not, they don't have arch support, and the footbed isn't deigned in such a way that tells me that they understand the shape of a foot at all. Across all three invo8 models, this is probably the most consistent demerit, but I won't dump all my ire in the stars here. I'll still talk about it cause it's relevant. Other shoes at least suggest attention to the foot's three arches. Other serious shoes think about foot position, foot impact angles, pronation and supination. Standing flat, my ankles wanted to roll inward (supinate) and the footbed did nothing to stop that - in fact the sole of the shoe just kind of swoops around the arch with nothing substantial there to hold it up. That's WEIRD because I'm a moderate pronator and I found my foot collapsing on itself. It was like the shoe was only built to support the outside sweeping edge of the foot. That's kinda what the shell of the shoe looks like, so, and even the heel just kind of sinks back. No structure. The insole is this green cushiony thing that at this point I think if you dip in milk it'll fall apart. It's not uncomfortable- it's just not a functional insole when then rest of the shoe isn't designed to mold the foot. BUT if you have a flat, narrow foot and the layup of this sole construction doesn't bother you, it's a pretty nice shoe especially at the sale price. I'm actually really mad they didn't work out for me. I'm stuck with expensive ass Merrells and Sportivas and their damn foot fitting designs.

Great comfort out of box!
Just got these sooner than expected! They feel amazing right out of the box! Great cushion and breathability. They hug my foot perfectly. I have somewhat narrow feet so I love that the toe box isn't as big. This is my second pair of Inov-8 shoes and the insoles and cushion are still my favorite part.

Size 10 women might go to men's
I had high hopes because reviews said to order 1/2 to 1 size up. I'm a 10-10.5 in women's and ordered the 11, the largest size there is. My toes still touch the end, but with very little pressure. I'm keeping the shoes because I love the look and the color. The insert isn't attached and it works its way to the back of the shoe, which causes my toes to hang over the front edge. An easy quick fix but annoying. I'm going to see about ordering a 10 in mens next time.

Very Comfortable
This shoe fits true to size, and was extremely comfortable. Definitely recommended for active walkers and fitness enthusiasts.

Nice shoes
I loved everything about these shoes. If you are a minimalist shoe wearer they are just what you hope for. The hurt my pinky toes a bit even though they did not feel small- so I had to return. :(

Good shoe with poor insole
This minimalist shoe offers a tight fit that envelops your foot. I have different shoes and others offer a wider tie box if that is what you prefer. The only issue is the insole. It slides up the heel so your toe goes over the edge of the insole. I reached out to Inov but got no answer. I’m not sure if this is a defect or just a bad batch but something to consider when purchasing.

Not what I expected
These shoes are way too pointy. Your toes are squished in there. They look like cleats. You can definitely experience the barefoot feature. Especially when lifting.

Good Gym/Workout shoes
Good Gym/Workout shoes - do not pinch my somewhat square toes and grip my heels well, so I no longer end up having to kick my shoes off doing some of the excercises.
