Too thick, distorts record sound
I got this to use to be able to swap between a black and white mat for when I am using my translucent records, but when I put on the white one and played a record I noticed that the pitch was just slightly but noticeably higher than normal. I thought I was going crazy until I swapped it back for my black mat and the record sounded fine again.The needle can be adjusted and all that if this was going to be a full-time mat for you, but for someone who wants to change out mat color frequently, there is no way I'm doing that every time. Its a big disappointment, so buy with caution
