Always hard to choose a cologne, when you can't smell it. But I don't regret it. It smells great! It has a spiciness to it but not to much. It has a fresh scent too. It's not overwhelming. I use to love acqua di gio from Armani if that can help. I was looking for vegan cologne and this is one is great. My wife loves it too.

Somehow both feels lumberjack and elegant all at once. Amazing.

I really wanted this to be a scent I could use on a daily basis due to having used the Scotch and Porter body wash of the same variety, but I have been let down. It’s as if there was no scent added to the bottle, only a pungent alcohol smell. I should have heeded another Amazon review of the product stating that it smelled only of rubbing alcohol, but I did not listen to the warning. Amazon won’t take it back so it’s $35 down the drain. Live and learn.

I received many compliments for this fragrance so I bought the 3 options. They were actually less expensive than the Scotch Porter website. Check them out. I think you might like them.

I've gotten the House Porter trial version from the fragrance library and I really enjoyed the scent. The scent was kind of strong and it lasted almost all day and I enjoyed that. So I decided to get the bigger version thinking it was going to be the same, but that wasn't the case. This cologne smells good but it lasts maybe a 1/4th of the time that the trial version lasted ( so like 3-4hrs max). Which is disappointing because I really like the version from the fragrance library this one doesn't match up to it.
