This product is truly amazing. It is smokeless
This product is truly amazing. It is smokeless, and I personally have grilled steak and salmon. It cooks it beautifully, and the grill marks are perfect. And the non stick grille is spectacular. Nothing sticks to it, and it rinses off in a flash. The drip pan is stainless steel and excellent quality. And the whole unit is compact and easily stored away after use. I would recommend it to anyone in small kitchens as it brings the outdoor barbecue to the Penthouse!

Not sufficient heat to give a barbecued type cook for steaks.
I got this for my husband who is always complaining that our induction hob does not make the best contact with plans to really sear steaks. I thought that 230o was hot but its not really hot enough and stews the steaks. If I hadn't tried this out, I would have returned it and bought a charcoal one.

A grill I'm really proud of
I'm truly blown away by this grill. It took me a long time to realise it, but I think the common George Foreman indoor grill design was never really a good thing. While this obviously doesn't use charcoal, it's the closest you'll get to having an outdoor BBQ indoors and it's quite spectacular. The ease of use is very straightforward. Unlike the common indoor grill that has a separate grill tray and can be quite messy if you're not careful, any fat drips down into a very large tray inside the grill. That tray slides right out for easy cleaning. Same with the grate which is comfortably slid in at the top. The setup didn't take long at all. The grill has a mode to keep your food warm which is handy and the main mode. Like with an outdoor grill that isn't adjustable. Just use a meat thermometer and you'll be good to go when cooking steak or any other meat however you like it.Not only does the product itself look very appealing—the infrared light that cooks the food will bathe your kitchen in a fiery orange hue. I don't know about you, but I find that really cool. Speaking of cool, this grill is certainly quite the opposite during its operation. It really warms up the kitchen which is a nice touch during winter months. This is definitely a keeper. Never going back to George.

A good frill but how much?
I never did get to the grips and now that the late Mrs H is gone, the twin grill aspect is too much for me. So this should do the trick instead. There are only three settings so even an eejit like me can work out how to work it. Although that seems to be a turn off for some of the more control freak cooks out there. Me I'm happy with on / off / keep warm. Mind and use gloves though. I'm a mess already so a few burns don't matter to me. It's quick to heat up and easy to clean. A point off for the insane price.

A Great Grill
What more could you ask for as this is the easiest to clean kitchen gadget that I have. Nothing sticks to the grid & with a quick wash in soapy water both grid and removable base are clean & shiny. Everything is tasty but not quite up to BBQ standard, not surprising really as no Charcoal to clear up or buy. As Philips say it is more or less smokeless.

Does what it says! ❤️ It
Bought this item for my husband for Christmas. Here we are barbecuing breakfast! He loves it. Stylish, fairly light weight and yet substantial and feels like a quality product. The instructions suggest 6-7 mins warm up time but we would suggest if you want a real sizzle then allow a little bit longer.. 10-15, but that’s really not a problem.Of course we need to experiment more with it, but highly delighted so far.

Cooks well but not quite sure about this - may work for some people
The idea of this infrared grill appealed to me. I've always found grilling a bit of a pain in a conventional cooker. The first thing you realise on opening this is that it is quite big and I'll come back to that point later. Using it is simple. Following the instructions I gave it a wipe over. The switch could not be simpler - off, keep warm, cook. It does need about 6 minutes to warm up. It is very bright and does get very warm. I tested this with some good butchers burgers and was impressed with the results. In around 12 minutes they were well cooked with nice grilled lines on. There was no smoke to speak off and the drip tray had little in - they were lean ones. You can get a fair amount on the barbeque tray - at least 8 burgers possibly a bit more.So far so good -the cooking experience was impressive. However I do have a few issues with this machine. It's about 52 cms x 38 cms with the barbeque tray on. You are going to need a decent sized kitchen to store and use that. Equally while there was no smoke to speak of there was a real smell of burgers afterwards and I'd say it would be far better under an extractor.Cleaning it was no real issue. The barbeque tray was relatively easy but keeping it properly clean will always be a task. The idea that it goes in a dishwasher is great. However in our full sized dishwasher it would take up more than half a shelf - that seem less good to me.The instructions say it can't be used outside which is fair enough but a pity - it would be good there. I think my main issue is with the instruction not to look at the infrared parts of it. They are uncomfortably bright frankly. But you try flipping something on it without looking at it! Great idea however I'm not sure how practical it would be for many people. The cooking is very good and I will use it some more but storage and care would make me a little unsure of this.

Hassle Free Deliciously Tasty Food
A kitchen must bachelor or not. Hassle free nutritious food before you know it...fun and easy.Easy start up (of course given some food prep. beforehand). It’s on for 20 minutes before even grilling veg.Consistently juicy and charred....tasty (keep a casual eye on cooking minutes for perfection). So little to clean you need not clean immediately. Line up sides with aluminum foil & that’s virtually always clean sides.
