Super comfortable, makes me feel like I can live my Victorian dreams while staying cool and comfortable. The fit is a bit big, but it’s no problem because it is a nightgown. It accommodates anything from moving around a lot in sleep to lifting for a mid-night trip to the chamber pot. It is surprisingly thick and stretchy, with no possibility of seeing through the fabric, while still being lightweight and breathable. It’s quite amazing, because anyone and everyone will look their best in this nightgown. I cannot imagine being without this nightgown, and I have been trying to convince everyone I know to get one too! The Victorians were on to something when they designed these, and this one is even better because it has the convenience of modern materials!

This is a very pretty gown, and it has sort of a stretchy feel to the fabric. The sleeves have elastic which makes them very comfortable even in the larger size. I would probably go up one size next time, as the waist/hip area is a bit on the narrow side compared to similar gowns in this size.

Sleeve length is shorter than advertised, ending at the mid-forearm rather than just past the wrist. Other than that its perfect, comfy and lightweight.

Okay, first of all this gown was NOT cotton, it was made of some cheap, highly flammable material like bad polyester. It looked NOTHING like what was advertised, after a couple of machine washings, the ruffle at the end of the sleeves began unravelling, it was much shorter than the gown pictured, and it smelled awful from day one. Please don't buy this, it's a straight rip off. I had it for about a month, then threw it away because I was SO disgusted with the poor quality of the material. Do better!

Pros: the material is soft (albeit, I doubt it’s cotton), construction is ok, especially nice details at the top.Cons: I don’t usually gripe about smells on clothes from Amazon, but this one reaaaallly smells of cigarettes. And on top of that there is a big black fingerprint smudge near the front/top (see photo). Makes me think the factory this came from was super dirty and unhygienic.For fit, I wanted one that was flowy so I ordered and XL, but the fit is the opposite of what you would want in this type of nightie: huge at the top & narrows towards the bottom. Also, the lace detail is the really cheap stretchy forever21 type material that always gets stringy when you wash it (and thus why I’m afraid to wash it to get the cigarette smell off).Luckily I’m only using this for a Halloween costume, so for a costume it’s ok.

So soft

I’m a t-shirt and pj pants kinda girl but I love Jane Austen and bought this nightgown for fun. It’s so soft, a beautiful color and I slept well in it. Very romantic and perfect for daydreaming of walking in the moors pining after Darcy (or Heathcliff if that’s your fancy) even if you live in suburbs

I love this nightgown! It's extremely comfortable and seems to be made very well. The fabric has a bit of stretch and isn't super thin, although you can see through it. It hangs nicely and the neckline is flattering with a very stretchy elastic that pulls down easily and very far which would be perfect for nursing. I will be getting more of these I love the way they look and feel. 10/10Sizing seems very forgiving. I am 5'5" 160 pounds and I got a large (based on other reviews) which fits with lots of room. I could probably do with a medium but I personally like the way this one falls over my frame.

Nicer then expected! Love how it looks. I'm impressed by the quality, fit and comfort. Not see thru or flimsy, yet light and cooling. Will be good for summer days. Also great for winter.

I most say this is the most comfortable night grown I have. Washes up like a dream and love the slight stretch to the fabric. I’m sure you will not be disappointed in this night gown, I did find that it is almost full length on me as I am only 5ft 1 in , so you my want to keep that in mind if you are short. I wish it came in more colours, I would definitely buy more. I did order a blue medium short sleeve, but for some season sent long sleeve , so disappointing.
