Q: It this more if a t shirt with cute sleeves or more of a blouse type of top?

It's a soft t shirt fabric but not clingy. It falls nicely and doesn't hug the hips. I wouldn't consider it feeling like a blouse. I wore it to church with navy pants and white shoes but I've worn it to cookout with blue and white pinstripe Capri. I don't put it in dryer just because I think those tops keep their True color and shape better to hang to dry. I love my top in red.

Did not get the white, can not answer.

Q: I am 5'6" & 116 lbs, small boned, usually wear a M because I don't like tight fitting clothes, what size should I get?

My best opinion is to measure a blouse you already have that you like the fit, bust and length and compare your measurements to the size they have.
