We wanted to add some light for reading at one side of the living room. There was an outlet for power under a shelf where the light could be mounted. I cut the end off an inexpensive 6' 16/2 extension cord and installed a rocker switch between that and the pigtail from the light. With a small wire-nut, there was just enough room inside the switch body to make the connections. Just one screw through each snap-in mounting bracket to the shelf support was sufficient for mounting the light. To protect the light wiring from tugging, I looped the cord through a small nylon cable clamp fastened to the shelf. The light output is just right for this application and the price is good for this lightweight, simple fixture.

I like these quite a bit. They keep the glue from getting too overwhelmingly messy. I use them with my 5th graders and they still manage to squeeze the bottle too hard at time and if the plunder is pushed down onto the paper, the glue does come out - just not as fast as a regular cap. Also, the bottle will collapse as they squeeze, then not be able to re-inflate as the plunger has sealed. Not a perfect fix, but they are better than regular caps. There is definitely a learning curve too. Had to have a lesson just on how to operate the new glue caps...lol!

I used these for years when I taught kindergarten and am now using them with my grandchildren. They make using Elmers glue safe and easy for young children (and adults!). You can totally control the flow and get just a small dot of glue. A must for any children who want or need to craft.

This is a nice, compact and bright light but installing it led to some difficulties. The power wire is very short so I removed the end cap to flip it to the other side. In doing so I broke the leads to one of the two led strips inside so I had to resolder that. After I had it oriented correctly it was still too short to work with so, back to the soldering iron to add wire and heat shrink tubing. The wire has to slide out under the base unless you are going through to the cabinet above, for my application under cabinet, this was not a problem but it could effect your project. There are no instructions so I don't know if there were alternatives to what I did.

The lights came in, installation is pretty simple. haven't tested them in extreme weather yet, but they have an amazing clean white light that cuts through the night. I couldn't justify giving them 5 stars without knowing how they will function in extreme weather. Will edit after they are tested.

These produced so much light for being such a fine wire. Very pretty effect and would definitely buy these again.
