Horrible description of size
The product itself is outstanding. It is made of a strong but flexible plastic and is absolutely perfect for what I wanted... other than the horrible description of sizing. This wasn’t the only seller I looked at either. The description says this size is for cable sizes of between 4-8mm. It’s about the only reference to size I could find. The cable I want to use it with is 4x7mm so it seemed the obvious sizing choice.Just look at the pictures to see how bad the description is. With all of those product pics, would it be so hard to include pics like I took? How much does everyone save in return shipping and hassle to just have accurate sizing specs?I hope this review is helpful and will save someone some hassle.

These work well.
These work well. I use them to add magnetic switches on power tools, and shore power on my vehicles. You can get by without them. But you get a much safer, and professional result with them. They form a good waterproof seal, and resist strain on your cords. The IP68 rating means they are Ingress Protected, the first number is the solids, or dust rating. A 6 means it excludes dust. The second number is the fluids rating. An 8 means it is water tight when immeresed in 1.5-meters of water for half an hour. So these will work well for nearly all non-marine installations.

They simply work
I use these for adding magnetic switches to power tools, and shore power wiring to my vehicles. They make the whole installation safer, and more professional looking. Sure you can get by without them, but a waterproof strain relief on things that get moved, and exposed to weather is simply a no brainer choice in my belt and suspenders, engineer mind.

Great Gland
These are great glands. We use them for chandeliers that have wine or liquor bottles hanging on cable below a whiskey stave or lichtenburg burnt wood. The gland protects the cables that are supporting the bottle and lamp.

Fairly light duty
These stress-reliefs are not a very robust. Very hard to install on the 10mm cord they are rated for. I made them work, but would choose a different product next time. Probably would work ok for smaller diameter cord

Plastic with locking nut and adjustable wire grip
Worked perfectly for my 2-wire round 16 gauge replacement of a heater cord. Back and front lock nuts and a separate constriction grip nut make this a very complete unit for a variety of repairs.

3.5-6mm wire? Not likely
I needed a strain relief for a 3.5mm wire and trusted the description of these. That was a bad move on my part. The opening for the wire to pass through is a bit more than 8mm.

incorrect diameter
The diameter sizes noted did not reflect on the product. Sent back.
