This cartoon was first published in POLITICO on September 7, 2017 just after Attorney General Jeff Session's announcement that the Trump administration will end DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, also known as The Dream Act). The Trump administration encouraged Congress to act within the next six months to legislate a replacement effort. The caption of the cartoon reads: "DACA. DACA. MAGA. The Base Must Be Appeased. T. The high altar of MAGA. All things done by Obama must be undone. T. DACA."
