I saw some fun holiday pillows online that had ball fringe around the edges that I wanted for upcoming Christmas decorating. I purchased fabric and the fringe, but after going to a couple local craft supply stores, could not find round pillow forms for the pillow covers I wanted to make. Then an advertisement for these forms popped up, like it was meant to be so I purchased them and proceeded with my project. The description of these inserts states that they are 18" but, they are not. Mine were more like 16". They are not perfectly round like in the picture for the project. They are sort of wonky but, I knew that that would not be a problem for my project and once I got them stuffed into the round pillow cover, they smoothed out. They came packaged compressed in plastic so, they were kind of flat in the packaging. Once you take them out of the packaging, they start puffing up again. I let them sit this way for a couple of days to fully fluff. I am very pleased how they worked as inserts for the pillow covers I made. I would definitely purchase these again.

Needed to add stuffing to plump it up.

I thought I would save a few dollars on the inserts, and I learned not all inserts are the same. The stuffing is very soft but they do not give give much support and are floppy. Grandkids like to lounge on the floor or daybed with large pillows to watch tv, but need two of these stacked up to match better quality inserts. Guess these would be fine if you were going to use them to sleep on a bed, but do not offer much back support on a day bed. I am going to replace them.

I was disappointed in the pillows I received…they were like saucers !!!

These pillows are not round. The zipper is sewn along a straight line causing them to have a weird distorted shape.They are not even close to 18" in diameter. I stuffed them both in an 18" round form and they still didn't fill out the pillow. They are closer to 14" max.
