One Pink Rose (Clayborne Brides Book 1)

I have found that julie Garwood gives just the right mix of drama, comedy and romance. I did not realize when I purchased this book that there was another book I should have read first. I plan to go back and do that. But I prefer to read things in order. So I am going to wait to read book 2 in this series, but I do plan to do that.

This is a cute, short romance. I like stories with families and this doesn't disappoint. I like the Clayborne family.

Finally, I got to read the first of the brides' books and it is up to the high standards of Julie Garwood! Her characters are enchanting and make you laugh. She also adds a little intrigue!!! A must read!!!!

The story was much too short but very good! This is the 2nd of the Claiborne stories so i have 3 to go!

The main characters and their interactions are well written. But the story skips over a major event in a hurry, and seeing more of how that situation was resolved would have been nice.

I loved this cute little read. Love reading about Mary Rose's brothers getting their happily ever after! Travis was the brother I wasn't sure about but he was pretty amazing. Loved this book

I think Julia Garwood is a good writer. She uses both humor and throws in a sprinkle of history, relationships and a happy ever after.

This was a good book with a good story. While I enjoyed the sequels even better, it was necessary to read Book One to understand the characters that would follow. These books are a different twist in plot from Ms. Garwood's Scottish and English hero/heroine stories and I, surprisingly, enjoyed them all.

Absolutely lovely😍😍😍😍😍. I did not put it down till I was done. I just love this Clayborne series, and the developing sub story of Daniel Ryan is intriguing. I have a feeling we will see him again in subsequent books. Can’t wait!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book it was so down to earth the characters personality were brilliant, I loved feisty Emily you could not help yourself laugh smile or giggle at her antics, Travis however just took her attitude in his stride thinking she was just crazy and she sure was but it did not stop him wanting her or her him, together they get into lots of situation while on there journey together, I am not one for giving the plot away so you would really need to read for yourself it's a beautifully written story with unforgettable characters.

The thirst 3 chapters were boreing I was going to stop reading it I love julie garwoods books FBI series so thought I'd read her other books sorry not for me

This was a disappointing sequel to "For the Roses." It was rushed and the characters seem shallow. I expected better from Julie Garwood.
