We recently changed our Washing machine, its an integrated one so the hinges needed to be changed on the door. I have a router but could not find a bit to fit anywhere so this was the next viable option before taking it to be done elsewhere.* The Jig is a solid enough plastic build, i dropped it a couple of times on the garage floor and it didnt break or shatter, its well made. The bit is clearly well made, fitted into the drill no problem.* Instructions are included, i read some reviews that stated they are not included, i received them and they are easy to follow, if not there are plenty of DIY Videos out there to take a look at.* As said this was purchased for the sole job of repositioning the hinges on one cabinet door, the jig fits nicely, flush to the door. It secures on easily and the bit is held firm in place to get the job done without worrying about slippage or depth.I truly hope i dont have to use it again, that would mean another washing machine has been purchased or a door needs replacing somewhere in the house, but if i did have reason too i am sure it will do just as good a job!Highly Recommended.Five Stars.

Did what it said it would be regarding the main hinge unit but I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't an accompanying template for the hinge plate. Fitting the hinge to the door is half the job. To complete it you need to figure out yourself where to mount the plate.

Perfect hinge holes! Not too sure what the offset dims refer too but the main thing is the drill is stable and guided to the correct depth, which it is. Neat box with foam cut outs in which to keep all the bits and pieces in. Very good.

Excellent product. Well made and very easy to use. As a competent DIY’er I’ve never made my own cabinets before but using this jig to hang the doors was a breeze. I had a quick practice but needn’t had worried. Very smooth and easy to use leaving a perfect finish.Used on premium 25mm Medite MR MDF with perfect results for mounting concealed inset hinges.

Joiner by trade, doing a kitchen at the moment, washer door needs fitted, normally drill these on my pillar drill at home, purchased this set and was quickly very impressed with how quick and easy this was, the drill bit is razor sharp and cut the door so easy, no breakout or chips, set the depth stop on the bit to stop it going to far, move the two adjusters for the distance from the edge of the door,, minutes that what it took, very impressed,

A really good product, worked well. The instructions were in Chinese which I am not proficient in but I worked it out and it has done a lovely job.

Good quality tool at a reasonable price, came packed in its own compartmentalised foam insert in the box, which is good for storing the parts that make up the tool - delivery was pretty quick

I've never done these before but happy with the results.

Great easy to use and setup. No instructions but there is a YouTube video if u search that is good. Drill bit is a little slow but for the cost of the package well worth it.

I had this jig sitting here for I'm not saying how long. I'm pretty handy (set or hung 22 new cabinets in kitchen and three baths) but after receiving a fourth replacement door for one of my cabs that, this time, wasn't drilled for the cup hinges (!!!), I was stalling now because I did not want to be the one to mess this one up by myself. When I finally tackled the task, this jig made it error-free and easy. I have a drill press but it was NOT needed - just my hand-held 3/8" drill. You need to know the diameter of the hinge cup holes (mine are 35mm, matching this jig) and you need to know the offset of the hinge from the door edge (this jig is adjustable to many offsets, measured in 1-mm increments). I simply started with the old, warped door, took a hinge off and set the jig, with bit, in place in an existing hole and set the jig offset adjustment to match. At that same time, you can match up to the hinge screw holes for your particular hinges - it has three alternative choices for those, too, one of which matched my hinges perfectly. Finally, with bit down in that existing hole, you lock in the depth collar properly to avoid drilling through the front of your new cabinet door. :) I cut slowly and vacuumed the cuttings frequently to be sure I could see what the bit was doing. One, two, three new holes ... mount original hinges onto the new door, and boom, hang it on the cabinet - fit the original cab frame tap-holes perfectly. Done. Loved it!!!! (Note, I only needed three new cup holes but the bit seems to be good quality and should do many more.)
