I packaged this reel up and shipped it back after 5 minutes of unboxing. What an absolute piece of Chinese junk!! This had to have come from the Wish factory. Horrible feel in function and mounts to close to your rod and interferes with your hand position. Fit and finish are atrocious and will be buying something else. Shipping was also late.

My ultralight reel broke so I needed a replacement. I got the smallest model they have based on reviews and price.I was able to take this reel out today to try it. First impressions are this seems well built. It is not flimsy and the bail is much thicker than other small reels.Casting was comparable to my old reel. The little lake I went to was very crowded and I didn't want to really cast as far as I could, but all seemed good.The retrieve here is tremendous. It is very smooth and not "jerky" at all. I may get another model in a larger size when I get a new rod.So far, this seems to be a very high quality reel at a very, very good price. Definitely consider this as a replacement or as a nice reel to go with a new spinning rod.

Goture MN100 Mini Spinning ReelAt less than 5.4 oz. this Reel is lightweight and tiny in size. Those are its only good points. It is overpriced and mine was unfunctional and was missing some parts, as other Buyers have noted. I'm returning this immediately ! You can get a better spinning reel like this for a lower price and with higher quality parts.

When I first received the reel, it felt extremely notchy. You could feel the gears turning inside. I took off the cover and put some quality oil and grease inside, and that smoothed it out a bunch. When I finally put string on it, most of the string was spooled at the bottom. Upon further inspection, I seen that the spool does not have enough travel to put the like evenly across the spool. Oh well, at least I don't use this setup much.

I bought 2 of these in the 2000 size. For the money I think they are an okay deal but I have issues with both of the reels i got. I believe their quality is questionable to say at best. 1 of the reel handle was riveted on at an angle and locks up while trying to reel. Very frustrating to use. The other one gets locked up for a split moment when the spinning reel hits if highest portion of the reels rotation. I have a feeling that this is not the case with each reel. It just seems like their is very little to no quality control. Other then the ossirs I have experienced I do believe if you dont have these factory defects like I have had then I could see why they have such high rating. They seem of tough material and can last long. But it's a roll of the dice. Also remember to greese the reel before taking it out. I'm glad I looked before using them but it does not seem like they m put any greese or oil at all in them.

Light, cheap, and reliable...they say pick any two. This reel definitely is cheap and reliable, and isn't very light which is fine with me. Everything on this reel is very sturdy, no wiggly parts like other cheap reels. The bail is really thick and makes a crisp click when opened. Love the handle that flips out of the way. The drag isn't the best but it isn't bad for the price. The 1000 fit nicely on my 5 foot ultra lite ugly stick.

The reel felt nice out of the package and the drag was a little sticky. I was able to fix the drag and it is now smoother than before, but the big issue for me is that the drag cap that prevents the spool from flying off has a gap and if you use small line down to 2lb-4lb the line can get caught up in that gap and create horrible birds nests and knots. I want to like this reel, but if I always have to look down to make sure my line is winding properly and not getting into the the gap that is there then I'm not really fishing. Like others have said it might be better for ice fishing.

Purchased 3 of these reels. They are ultra tiny, which is what I was wanting, and they are cosmetically appealing. However, the quality is poor. The anti-reverse on the silver reel would not work at all. Not worth the trouble of sending it back, so I took it apart, attempting to correct the problem myself. This was not successful. The parts that make up these reels are cheap. Of course, the price is cheap too. You get what you pay for!
