These arrived yesterday, as with any new garment, I wash them before wearing. Well, standard wash cycle, with a tumble dry on low heat and they looked to have shrunk a lot in length. That was an illusion, as they pulled on fine and got above my Popeye calves securely. They seem padded well so far and the fit is in that Goldilocks zone of not too tight and not too loose. Again, I've had these for less than a day so this is going up as a pre-review until I've had time for a proper evaluation. The plan is to update in a few months on the durability, they will get put through the paces in work boots, out in all kinds of weather, in ditches, and up ladders.

Walking the disc golf courses with rough terrain caused me to wear holes in my regular socks, and the lack of padding caused me to bruise the ball of my foot. These socks are much more comfortable and padded, and they don't cause my feet to sweat anymore than my usual work socks do, either. I think they last a lot longer, but will have to wait to see how much longer.

These were just the trick for use with a walking boot after surgery. They are thick witch makes improves the comfort of the boot and they are absorbent. The absorbency, along with regular changing, is important because the boots don't breath. 'Wicking' socks only serve to distribute the moisture to the boots lining. These are a huge improvement over what I was using before!

I am very particular about socks (think Mr. Pitt - Seinfeld episode)… these are perfect.
