Cute, comfortable, and effective!
This is ADORABLE and my dog not only likes it more than the cone, but also couldn’t chew on it (unlike the cone which she destroyed) and it was very effective at keeping her from her surgery site. She was also able to chew on her toys and bones with it which was not the case with the cone. She’s a bigger dog (great Pyrenees/lab mix) and the size guide was perfect for finding the right size to order. I’m glad I measured her neck because the size I would have guess would have been wrong.

Adorable & Comfortable
I had previously purchased a regular cone when my dog got spayed and she was miserable. I had to take it off and keep an eye on her because she’d keep her head down and refused to move. Broke my heart!Decided to give this inflatable donut a shot and it was night and day. She was able to use it for hours at a time and seemed comfortable. It even helped as a pillow as she slept. It was easy to inflate and did not deflate easily. Great quality and easy to put on/take off. Most importantly, it helped her heal within a week.

smooth soft material, easy to inflate, accurate size chart
Very nice donut. As described, it has a smooth nonstick fabric. I found that with our other name brand donut, the material has brushed fiber to it, and while it is find for dry wounds, anything that may have seepage was sticking and drying to the material. Was gross. My boy had a couple of nasty hot spots on his face last year, so until I was looking for another donut for another dog, I didnt realize this type of material was available. So while I am not using this on him at this time (no need), I did buy it with him in mind even though I got it for our girl who got spayed. Her neck is 18-19". I chose the XXL as it is to fit sizes 18"-23". I could have gone with size smaller, but this works. It fits as expected- lightly loose with a lot of strap left over, but it stays on fine with use with a collar (I always use a collar to help keep any donut on and in place). I do wish that the velcro extended the length of the strap so that way there is no excess dangling. I found this true with our other brand as well.Material is smooth and soft. To inflate, just pull the tab out, squeeze the nozzle, blow in air, let go, then cap it.Color and design is adorable.Keep in mind that donuts only work so long as dog isnt too long or too flexible to just bend over and reach their wounds or surgery spots. Keep fully inflated to firm for best hindrance.5 stars for meeting or exceeding expectation.

Good - while dog is supervised
This is a good alternative to the cone, but my dog can get out of it if he is unsupervised. His neck measured 10", so I ordered both S and M to see which one was best. They both worked but the small one was harder for him to get out of. (In the photo he is wearing the size M). The reviews that suggest not inflating it 100% were very helpful - this is way more comfortable for the dog and still effective. My dog has 3 legs so having this on made it a little harder for him to walk without toppling over. I don't expect that to be the case with the 4-legged ones. Also, the velcro on the strap is not long enough, so if you want to make it tighter you need to rig it. All in all I would say it is good, not perfect.

Amazing product!!!
I have a Great Pyrenees, which has been an absolute lifesaver for my dog and myself. It keeps her from licking and messing with the incision on her back leg. She also had a mass removed from her throat. It is an extensive incision across her neck. The vet called me after surgery and said there was no way she could wear the “Cone Of Shame” or even her regular collar. Because of how cushiony this pillow is, it is the best option in this scenario. I purchased a dog T-shirt with a turtle neck and snaps around her back legs. The turtle neck is a thin barrier between the openly exposed neck incision and the doughnut collar. I had ordered it before she had surgery, and I brought it with me to her pre-op check-in and showed it to her vet to ensure it would work. She was pumped and said it was the perfect solution to her situation. It doesn't bother Lulu; it is easy to put securely in her, and she looks so comfortable when sleeping. Not to mention, she looks so stinking cute in it. She is a Great 110 lb Great Pyrenees with a thick mane. I ordered the XXL size, and it fits her perfectly. I highly recommend This product to anyone seeking an alternative to the vet-issued plastic cone post-surgery. You fur baby will love you for making her recovery more comfortable and stylish.

Works Great!
This inflatable collar has been the best thing in my dog’s spay recovery. It so much more secure than the e-collar we received from the vet. She took the berms collar off right away and this collar has stayed even though she’s tried to take it off.The design is cute and fun and she’s able to sleep with it comfortably - the whole day even. She can eat and drink with it on as well as go outside to do her business. However, I do take it off during those activities to give her a break and just monitor her closely when she’s not wearing it.The only thing to be mindful of is filling it with air completely. When it was filled completely she almost looked like she was choking and that’s when she tried to take it off almost choking herself. I find it best to fill it up 90% where there’s some push to it so it can be pushed it some especially so your dog can lie down comfortable and in our case, she can get in and out of her crate easily with some give since we have a smaller sized crate for our chihuahua mix.So far, I haven’t seen that she has been able to get any licks to her incision area so I think this was money well spent.
