Sister Day! Hardcover – Picture Book, June 13, 2017

I loved the other book by the author "Strictly No Elephants", so I bought this one blindly for my 2 daughters. The story is OK but a bit flat. Spoiler alert: the older sister is over-scheduled. Who in their right mind signs up a child simultaneously for weekly karate, piano, ballet and what not classes and weekly playdates on top of that? Literally every single day of the week?? So that her sister needs to "fit in her schedule"? We're talking about young kids! That just completely doesn't resonate with me as a parent and makes the story less cute. Loved the illustrations though.

Sweet story of the closeness between sisters! My granddaughters love it!

A lovely story about embracing differences and showing love in the most creative of ways. A must have for all sisters!

From the names of the girls (Lizzie and Jane - a nod to Pride & Prejudice, I'm sure, and if not I don't want to know otherwise) to the plot, in which a younger sister wants to spend time with her older sister, and embarks on a secret project to try to make it happen. It's adorable and sweet, and I think it is absolutely wonderful.

A sweet, imaginative story about the bond between two siblings. Bonus points to anyone who sees what the author did with the names. ;)
