Park Designs Galvanized Star Metal Bread Box

I love galvanized metal items, and this breadbox looks so good in my kitchen. However, I did consider exchanging it, because the door does not fit evenly or tight on both sides. Knob is a little odd to use at first. Over priced, but with Amazon points I paid a fair price. Bread fits nicely, and upper shelf a good size. I do love it, it’s just not precision craftsmanship, but it will fulfill the purpose, and nothing else I’ve seen is as good looking as this.

It was so small!! Not at all as expected! Sent it back!

After using this breadbox I have noted the following, there are edges along the sides you put your hand in around the bottom section, you have to be very careful to not scrape on those edges, I’ve scraped my hands several times. The breadbox is not very heavy so between that and the felt bottom it slides around when you try to open it. I still haven’t figured out an easy way to turn the nob to open the bottom section, that’s on us however, my husband closes it in the opposite direction as I do. The look is ok in our rustic farm kitchen, still contemplating painting it flat black. Considering the cost I expected perfect. Will keep it but don’t consider it a great addition to my kitchen.

I feel like this was way overpriced compared to other bread storage options, but it was really pretty and exactly the design my mom wanted. It does keep bread items fresh though too. Just wish it was a more reasonable price!

I love this bread box ! Although the welding on it is not straight , so my piece on the bottom door is crooked and has some sharp edges inside ... no big deal if you be very careful putting whatever you may store in it . It has holes all around the bread box to allow air ! Which in my opinion is a good thing! The stars on the front give it an awesome look! It is lightweight but sturdy.

I gave this three stars for sturdiness, as the latch is very difficult to use and sometimes won't latch. It looks GREAT in my kitchen, however I'm wondering how long that latch will hold up. It's not good.Update: user error on my part, I figured out how to use the latch and have no problem with this bread box. One more thing, it really keeps my breads, hamburger buns, etc fresh and they last a lot longer without getting moldy.I get lots of compliments on this bread box. I LOVE it.

Love the looks of this bread box. Looks great in my kitchen. I would buy it again. Only drawback is the turn knob is a little flimsy.

I wanted something unique, not just an ordinary run of the mill cutsie breadbox - I was not disappointed. It's a good size - easily fits 2 loaves of bread in the bottom section and a pkg of English muffins and some misc buns in the top. Since it's made of tin, I was a little concerned it might be cheap looking...it not only looks good but it's sturdy too. The clasp took a little to get used to but works fine.

Product was pretty much what I expected. Nice look and function. Somewhat overpriced I guess but it does the trick. It smelled bad (toxic chemical odour) when we got it but I gave it a bath and it is already fading. Overall happy.
