I bought this for checking outside temperatures while backpacking and camping off the back of many YouTube recommendations. Before it's even been out on a trip it's in my home office monitoring temperatures while I'm working. I also had it in my portable car compressor fridge to track how quickly it reaches set temperatures, how often it powers up to maintain it, and helped me find the best settings for the power consumption.It uses the Govee Home app, so if you're already in the Govee smart home device eco system then you'll already have what you need. I'm not so I was a little disappointed it wouldn't work with SmartLife, but at least Govee doesn't force you to have a cloud account. Having said all that the Govee Home app is easy to use and the thermometer integration is pretty good showing a multitude of readings and graphs. It's a great piece of kit!

I cannot praise this gadget enough. It’s exactly what I was looking for to monitor the temperature and relative humidity in my greenhouse. Easy to set up and hang from a shelf with the included lanyard. Once paired with the Govee app it’s so useful to be able to see a graph of the temperature and humidity updated each hour and to actually see the RH coming down when opening the vents. The Bluetooth range if perfectly acceptable and I haven’t had a problem getting the data to my phone. For the price this is a great gadget and I thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to get real time temperature and humidity monitoring.

Nifty little device purchased for hiking / outdoor use, takes a biggest coin battery I’ve seen and monitors temp and humidity for a year on the supplied set of batteries. Good easy to use app that syncs to the device by Bluetooth and can download days of data at a time. Only 23g.

This is a very good quality, small and compact Hygrometer / Thermometer, as I’ve come to expect from Govee (I have other Govee products, equally good). This is for indoor use, and not outdoor, and is easily placed wherever you wish. There is no incorporated display, but obviously this can be seen via the app. It’s very well-made, robust, small and compact.The device is battery powered and comes complete with the required (1 x CR2477) battery already inserted, with an isolating tab you simply remove in the usual way with this kind of device. The t&h sensor has a small lanyard, so it’s easy to hook onto wherever you wish. Perhaps a conventional ‘keyhole’ type recess would have been good as an option too, but it does stand, and you could always use a small sticky tab.This was really simple to set up, and connects by Bluetooth. Really easy pairing, in fact, it paired automatically, since I already have the Govee app. Do bear in mind though, that you are only able to access when in BT range (not when you are away from the home). This is a shame, since many other similar products connect via Wi-Fi, and can connect via an Echo Show for instance or as a direct app, and not just BT, (as my Netatmo devices do).The interface is exceptionally good, with plenty of additional information, eg, historical recording and averages, as well as export, min / max temperature / humidity alerts etc. Accuracy is good – I compared with other devices.Overall, this is a good quality, inexpensive gadget that works well, and can integrate with other Govee products. Shame it isn’t Wi-Fi, so can be accessed anywhere, but there may be a Govee hub you can buy? If this was Wi-Fi, it would be a resounding 5 stars.I hope that you have found this helpful.
