Lindsay Kelk never disappoints and this was no exception!!! Loved it!

You guyssssss. I’m all in w this author’s writing style, I don’t know what else to say! Bitchhhhh!It’s the magic of balancing the silly with the heavy. The magic of story telling being so fluent that the characters feel real. It’s the too spot on references.As I’m reading I felt like part of me was exploring a new life in Los Angeles. We follow Phoebe on adventures, learning her sister, coming to terms with the past, making new friends…and Ren… oh Ren.This book had unexpected heavy undertones in parts that legit made me feel for these characters and tear up. Everything was written with so much care and rawness, I felt like I was there.It’s the feel good. The rom-com. The moments. The messaging. The flow.Special should out to Myrna.

I thought this book was so entertaining and sweet! The storyline is a modern day, semi-take on Cyrano where Phoebe, who is exceptionally bright and funny, doesn't think she is pretty or appealing enough to attract a hot man. Granted, the book is based in LA, so she IS surrounded by objectively beautiful people. I won't give spoilers about her connection with Ren, but the book is worth reading just for the charming, fun, sweet, snarky, etc. side characters who Phoebe befriends during vacation.

Lindsey’s writing is so much fun to read. Her British wit is my absolute favourite. I never miss buying her latest release.
