This is a fascinating look at the lives of the former pupils of the Duke of York’s Royal Military School who gave their lives during the great war (almost 500 in total). The research that must have gone into this book was thorough and the stories though brief gave an insight into the lives of these former pupils who would have all been orphans of soldiers themselves.
