Great Reading
The book is good reading. Nowadays though a lot of people follow the Hindu tradition and religion they seldom understand the reason behind these rituals.Amish has very gainfully explained these.I hope others will enjoy reading this book like I have.

Loved it
“Idols” by Amish and Bhavna is a really interesting book about why people worship idols. The authors talk about how, even though idol worship has faced challenges over the years, it’s still a significant practice for many. They explore the meanings behind it, like the symbolic importance of Ishta Devata, and they discuss the benefits of devotion. The book is easy to understand and gives simple, but deep, insights into why people follow these ancient traditions. If you’re curious about the reasons behind idol worship, this book is a good, thought-provoking read.

Lacked the topic
FINISHED THIS BOOK IN JUST TWO DAYS WAS UNABLE TO WRITE A REVIEW.SURELY A UNPUTDOWNABLE BOOK FOR IT’S EASE IN WRITTING STYLE .THE NARRATIVE AND WHOLE SETTING OF CHARACTERS AND DISCUSSION WITHIN THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT OUR BELIEFS AND THE WAY WE LOOK AT THINGS WHICH IS BEAUTIFULLY EXPLAINED BY THE AUTHORS, ESPECIALLY THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND CERTAIN PRACTICES AND SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES. BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE TO LIVE LIFE WITH DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM ALL THE STORIES ,TALES ,KATHA AND MUCH MORE FROM HINDU,GREEK AND WESTERN TRADITIONS AND CULTURES AND PRACTICES AND ARE MENTIONED ON EVERY PAGE .STORIES OF EACH DIETY WAS THERE WITH ITS TARGET AUDIENCE OF YOUNG YOUTH WILL LEARN SOMETHING FROM FORGOTTEN TALES OF HINDU MYTHOLOGY.THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO LEARN FROM EACH BOOK SO I L BE TAKING A DIG ON SOME BOOKS LIKE ISHA UPNASHID AND URUBHANGAM WHICH WAS MENTIONED THERE SO I HAVE ALREADY ORDERED AS IT CREATED INTERST IN ME .MY SEARCH WAS FOR THE TOPIC IS NOT ANSWERED AT ALL IN THIS BOOK AS IT HARDLY SPOKE ABOUT THE ORIGIN AND TO WHY MURTI PUJA!IT SKIMS TO THE SURFACE BUT THE BOOK LACK DEPTH OF THE TOPIC IT HAD TO COVER AND THAT’S HOW I CAN SUM UP THIS BOOK AS ENLIGHTENING CONVERSATIONS AND IT EXPLORES THE FAITH, CONVICTION ,RITUALS AND LACKED THE TOPIC OF THE BOOK IN THE BOOK !WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING MORE FROM THE TOPIC AND THE AUTHOR .

Brilliantly crafted wisdom
Amish and Bhavna do it again. An excellent method of narrating complex theories and connecting with various personalities of Gods and Goddesses. A must read for all who want to know more about Sanatan Dharma.

Review of the book and not a amazon product
Most slow paced and directionless reads. When the writer says that he is using the form of conversation to make it intresting. He forgets that eventually this is not a conversation. It's eventually a readSo it ends being neither, it's obviously not a conversation and it's also not a story.Had to complete it for the sake of reading. Why have characters in the book when there is no theme to itJust rename them to character 1 or character 2 it still won't make any differenceAnd then the most irritating part is using your own book to mention one of your other books. Why the brag Mr. Tripathi, yes you are a successful writer but rub it in the readers face.I came from reading Anand neelkanthan's the asura way. That way much engagingThere were a couple of overlapping stories and the difference between the two authors is huge. The sudama story, Anand goes on details how sudama refused a grain of boiled rice to krishna and how he denied saying there is nothing but mud to eat and that's what he got the rest of the life , and only when he was ready to offer his last portion of boiled rice that Krishna gave him all.Anand not just gives more details but reads between the fine lines what it meant.Amish has just been lazy telling that story.Very lazy writing taking the readers for granted
