Q: Are these waterproof?

Hi! No they are not waterproof. They are meant to organize your backpacks and luggage. They can be out in a waterproof bag, like the waterproof YETI’s, but the cubes themselves are not waterproof. I personally really like them and was very surprised by the amount of room it offered. It definitely does the job it was meant to. :) Hope this helps!!

Q: What is on the back side? Can they be attached to the hitchpoint grid or velcro'd in place?

These were a gift so I can't say for certain but I don't believe there was any way to attach these to anything. It seems they were more intended for suitcase type of packing.

Q: Does it keep things cold? Would make a perfect medication carrier if so.

No wish it did but it’s only a nylon type material bag
