After years of setting up ladders and extending myself to try to reach certain flood lights outside (and after a few hilariously painful mishaps) I decided to do the smart thing and get a long pole.I can reach things I couldn't have reached before, from the ground. I can then use it to pretend I'm jousting with my kid, and practically take his eye out (the hilariously painful mishaps continue, but by choice now)Strong and sturdy, the locks work great, and it does what it's supposed to do - gouge out eyeb...err...keep you on the ground safely, while you reach things high above you.

With high eaves on our house and shed we get a lot of wasp nests that are out of reach. I finally decided to take care of the problem without having to drag a ladder out and the risk of getting stung while up high. I paid more for this than I was planning on but I wanted this to be the last extender pole that I ever purchased and it was money well spent. I have only had it for 30 minutes but absolutely love it. The construction is top notch, very sturdy including the clasps (24 foot model). I already have taken down 5 nests in less than 8 minutes. This pole is so sturdy that I am sure I will use it for other uses including painting and cleaning fans. I highly recommend this unit, it is perfect.

I purchased this pole to use with my McCauley Gutter Pro cleaning took. If you intend to buy the said tool then I highly recommend this pole to you to go with it.As you can see, this house, 2-storeys high and I am able to reach my gutter with the tool attached while keeping both feet on the ground. I can extend the pole one more segment but it was no longer needed as you can see here (unless it is a horrible clog, of course).I am so happy I will be able to clean my gutter over and over as needed without fear of going to the roof ever again.I can also replace the attached tool with a squeegee and clean my windows with it too.

Had an unseen basketball sized hornets nest at the top of a second story window. The bee killer spray cans would not reach. No exterminators replied to my calls. So I purchased this pole and a spray can attachment. The pole was sweet. Lightweight, easy to carry, easy to extend and lock, long and reasonably steady at full extension. No more bee's! I love this pole!

The extension pole feels very durable and easy to use. If you extend it from the top first, it has that wobbly field so you can dust along the edge of the outside of your home easily. If you extend it from the bottom first, it’s more rigid and good for scrubbing. I would definitely purchase again.
