Really good only thing Is I wish Conrad’s love letters were included
Love this big serious lovely version with all Free together is brilliant. The one thing that is disappointing and I would change Is I would like to have had Conrad’s love letters to Belly included in the book

This is a pretty and engaging series
This is a pretty and engaging series, telling the story of Belly and her tangled relationship with two brothers over a number of years. I loved Belly's point of view as she grows up through the three books but although I couldn't put the story down I wanted more from it overall. The "a couple of years later" jumps seem like a way to skim over important parts of the character development and the reader is forced to accept the changes that have happened in the missing pieces of the story. Nevertheless, an enjoyable read and one I would recommend.

Better than the tv show.
The show was good but these three books are brilliant. Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad, childhood friends until they weren't, the idyllic surroundings of Cousins and loving fami!ies, all thrown together for summer holidays. Great books, but you have to read them in order. However, highly recommended.

Lessons in coming of age
This book is a story of growth, life lessons and the angst, joy and journey of being a teen in today's world. It deals with how teens process infatuation, love, grief, friendship, family. It show the highs, the lows and the complexities.I think it depends what era of your life you are in how you see the triangle, but the characters are all brilliant and you want to join them on their individual and joint journeys. I read the whole trilogy in one night because I could not put it down, but have re read again and again. The characters sure do leave marks on your heart.

No way as good as the show
I saw the Amazon Prime series before reading the books. The storyline is not a like for like match, TBH I find the TV series much richer and compelling. The first two books felt very empty... the third book definitely was more complete & it was easier to understand the connection between Conrad and Belly and their depth of feeling. As the writer was heavily involved in the TV series I cannot help but think she put a lot into it as a form of redemption for the barely there brushstrokes she painted in the books.
