Sword Art Online abec Artworks

If you’re a SAO fan and you love the art of the series, this book should already be in your shopping cart. The thoroughness of how the book was compiled by Abec, the same artist who does the artwork for the series, is truly amazing. Little notes are left all over the book so you can enjoy what was going through Abec’s mind while creating different scenes and such. And the book itself, while paperback, has a really nice feeling skin (I forget what the outer removable portion of a book is called) to where you think it’s axtually hardcovered. All in all, a wonderful addition to any SAO lovers collection, especially with Christmas right around the corner.

I pre ordered this book when it was first available. It's a must have for SAO English readers. It displays the artwork by abec who is the artist for the light novel series. For each image there are short comments left by abec. At the price this is being offered you should definitely have this. The next SAO art book I need is The Perfect Guide: Animation Sword Art Online by the illustrator of the anime version Adachi Shingo.

Very pretty pictures and I love the notes from the artist for almost each and every one. It's nice having a visual reference for every character in a physical form and the seeing illustrations that you don't get to via novels and manga modes

Love how much there is only wish that there was more. As in a book as thick as my arm would have been super.

Reading abec's input and thoughts process on different characters and events that take place in the series as well as getting some bonus content and many gorgeous illustrations makes this book well worth getting...physically that is. Sadly the physical copies are quite rare to come by these days for a reasonable price and on top of that, the Kindle version I purchased is severely lacking in the resolution department to the point of some pages being nearly illegible. It really is a shame that such a good book didn't get the high quality ebook version it deserves.

Definitely worth purchasing if you collect SAO merchandise! I've always loved their artwork, and this is a great book to use as references and inspiration when I draw :)

This book I got for my boyfriend for Christmas. Came in great time, full of nice art. The only bad part is that there was a nick in the spine of the book (which is paper back) and it just kinda made it look a lil bad.

Love the art included in this book, and there are a lot of pages. Definitely recommended for any collector.

Its been quite a while since I wrote a review so here we go!As i flipped through the pages the art grew more stunning and beautiful. I personally enjoyed the process of Kirito and Asuna's work,seeing the detail and time that went into these pieces was extraordinry. As a big fan of SAO this was intresting to see how all my favourite charachters were drawn. I felt like I got to know the artisit more and more each time i turned the page. Ive been thinking of getting the physical copy for safe keeping. Maybe sometime in the future when im not as broke after buying animal crossing xD.Now onto the short story!My first thoughts were about Yuuki. I was glad I got to see her again, As always Kawahara manages to make books and stories that have me in awe. Cebe (I think that was her name bad memory!) was an intresting character. I loved the plot of an artist learning to draw again. I also loved her dog sheep? Doofles? he was a cute little bundle of joy. The plot was okay I felt like it was rushed but ill give it a 4/5. That concludes my review sorry I sound like a 10 year old xD. Ill try post more reviews regularly.

Ya sea que se ame o se odie Sword Art Online el talento del ilustrador abec es indiscutible, el libro contiene sus trabajos desde los bocetos y diseños originales de los personajes hasta el principio del arco de Underworld (Alicization Beginning), es un deleite visual leer los detalles y ver el concepto de como fue creada cada ilustración.

En primer lugar, comentar que no estapa dura, sino tapa blanda con una cubierta al estilo manga.Pasando al contenido, las ilustraciones son una maravilla. Si eres fan de la saga (y en especial del manga y las novelas ligeras) te ecantará. Incluye todas las ilustraciones de las portadas de las novelas (y creo que todas las del contenido) y muchas más con el añadido de incluir anotaciones hechas por el dibujante (abec) que mejoran mucho el contenido puesto que puedes saber la opinión del dibujantes sobre esos dibujos y otros comentarios curiosos que va haciendo a lo largo del libro (eso sí, al igual que el libro los comentarios están en inglés).Resumiendo, si te gusta la saga de Sword Art Online recomiendo encarecidamente adquirir este libro de artworks porque lo vas a disfrutar un montón.
