Good quality, works, but DP flickering persists
Agree with the top reviewer, this is not a KVM which emulates the devices being permanently connected, so no good for continuous switching. But for the price it was exactly what I wanted. Heavy, excellent quality feel to it. USB Inputs are on the front, along with chewing gum switch-button. All other [DP] ports on the back.Bought to replace a much cheaper ugreen switcher which gave me flickering problems. Sadly I still have flickering problems with DP when I go through this switch, and I don't understand why. Have changed cables. When I bypass the switch it doesn't flicker. I don't think it's the switch though. I think my huge Dell 5K2K ultrawide running at full resolution @ 60 Hz is super-fussy. A real frustration without solution, because this monitor only has 1 DP input. Will keep nevertheless as it's good.

Worked - sort of
KVM switch comes with everything you need bar the display cables (USB, power, audio, switch exten.)No problems noted with picture. The picture refused to switch without input from the mouse/keyboard. With my laptop [Dell docking station/1 year old] the switchover took around 6-8 seconds, with my desktop [RTX 3080 / 5m old] it refused to switch fully at all. All connections used Displayport connections, and in fact I replaced an HDMI>DP cable because I couldn't get it working (note that on the many forums I have read since, it says this cable MUST be ACTIVE in the correct direction for HDMI>DP to work). I just had a blank screen.I heard the USB keyboard and mouse being detected by the desktop/RTX 3080 but no picture.Eventually I worked out I had to switch laptop to desktop, then very quickly back to laptop then quickly desktop and this appeared to 'reset' and wake up the connection and I got a picture. I could also do this by unplugging and replugging the DP cable.Edit: Switched on this morning with just the desktop and display keeps flicking on/off. Interesting to note previous comments about Dell high refresh (144Khz) monitors as I have one, and also 4k monitors flickering - perhaps the bandwidth just isn't there?Edit: Seller did proactively replace the item and the screen flashing on/off issue seems to have gone. It is still reluctant to switch to the 3080 without the rapid 1<>2 switching I mentioned but it works. I have upgraded the review from 3>4 starsEdit: This is interesting (sort of) - I changed my motherboard in a PC upgrade. Same 3080 RTX, same cables, everything else same. So was an MSI board, now Gigabyte - KVM seems to work consistently, even though it connects to the GPU, not the motherboard. Strange things part III !

Great value "KVM" switch
First of all, like others have said, this isn't a true KVM. It is just a box that disconnects one set of inputs and connects another, and that's why it's at least 5x cheaper than a true KVM.This means is if you have any application windows open on one computer and switch to the other, your window placement will be all messed up when you switch back. Also, it will disconnect and reconnect all your USB peripherals, so you'll have to wait for a lot of annoying chiming to end before you can use anything again. This makes switching quite slow - a good 10sec each time for the screens to wake and everything be useable again. If you're going to be switching back & forth with both machines on and several applications open, this will probably get tiresome. However, if like me all you want is the ability to connect two machines to one set of screens, where one machine will almost always be off (i.e. work and personal computers) then this will do you just fine. There is absolutely no need to spend more money in this case.Minor gripe / wish for improvement is that there is no indicator on the remote as to which machine is currently active - would be very useful for those of us who have the box hidden away.

Not quite a KVM but it sort of does a job
This is more like a straight mechanical switch than a KVM, it effectively unplugs and re-attaches the connected devices so you do not get a straight transparent switchover which can only be achieved with a device that emulates a screen/keyboard/mouse itself, which this does not.

Works out of the box, no issues, great value for money
Other KVMs I found to be very expensive and not what I was looking for. This solved my problem and now my workstation is set up between my personal computer and work computer. Thanks!

not the best for a laptop connection
It doesnt work like a docking station where the laptop just have a usb3 and the docking link to two screen, here you need to have as much cord going to laptop than number of screensotherwise all good

This review is silly, okay it made me laugh, do you know that a KVM switch has no camera or screen?
Thanks for the good KVM switch. I works quite well.Would you tell me what the camera question meant?

1440p 165Hz works
1440p 165Hz works without problems: 2m+ cable on each device.HDCP is a bit of a gamble though: works on one device, and not on the other.

Unidad defectuosa o especificaciones erroneas
