This console cable worked great for letting me connect to the network cards on my APC UPSes. No special driver searching was needed on my Windows 11 laptops. Connected reliably and no issues with a couple of different interface cards (AP9630 and AP9635). Incredibly convenient having a single cable with USB interface instead of pairing to a USB <-> serial adapter. Highly recommend this cable if you have the need for it!

I'm always a little cautious when purchasing serial console adapters online these days. I always seem to find the ones with the worst possible driver support. I'm happy to report that this USB to AJ 2.5 serial adapter cable does not have that issue. Once I plugged it in to my Windows 11 laptop the device was automatically detected and the driver was downloaded and installed. Within a couple of minutes I was ready to assign the COM port settings and console my APC Network Card #2 adapter card. I would suggest giving this a try if you are in need of a USB to AJ 2.5 serial console cable.

I didn't look closely and see that this is for 2.5mm jacks, so I'll need to find or get a 2.5mm->3.5mm adapter to use it for my Gnubee. At least plugging it in seems to set up the device as a typical serial COM port so at least there is no issue on the USB end.
