Jura CD Heater for Cups, Stainless Steel, 60 W, 30 liters, Black, 72229

A "must have" addition to any Jura. Very well made with soft close drawers. Timer is a little fiddly and can only be set for one period of time so has to be manually switched on outside of your set period. Ours is set from 0630 until 0830 and works for us. Takes about 45 minutes to reach 55c - we have espresso cups and medium size cappuccino cups placed inside and for best results, turn them upside down. If you forget to turn it off outside the timer period, it will switch itself off after 12 hours which is a nice safety feature. Ours fits nicely next to our E8 in fact, it looks as if it's one unit. Comes with a two year warranty which demonstrates Jura's faith in its machines.

Got this as a returned item, packed perfectly with everything like new. Fits 3 mugs per draw, I mange a double express cup, 2x normal express and two smaller mugs in top, and three in bottom. Timer is handly but only one on-off cycle per day - 2 on-off cycles would be an improvment (I would like it to turn on before I get up and again before I get back from work. Can't use external timer because starts up switched off. Takes a little while to get the cups up to full temperature. Some have complained the cups are not hot enought but I find them hot, not so hot as to be uncomfortable but definately hot and the Cappucino is definately hotter than before in the hot cups.

Could be a bit taller to accomodate taller coffee mugs which would also raise it to the same height as the Jura E6.As it does look rather awkward when placed alongside
