Kohler28209-NA Anthem Two-Port Digital Thermostatic Valve, Provides Accurate & Consistent Temperature, For Use with the Anthem Digital Control

My first experience with digital showers was the Kohler DTV. We put in a six outlet system in a large family shower. Very expensive, especially for options like WiFi and speakers and lighting.The anthem is better priced ( cheaper) but works about the same. The controls are intuitive but the best experience is with the app. for your mobile device. I like starting the shower with my phone. In a few minutes the water is up to temp. While I prepare. It also shuts off when it reaches temp until you step in allowing some water savings.This time we did a 4 head system. Will experience 1st shower tomorrow AM, but testing and setup has been a blast. My only regret is I wish the wall mounted display stayed illuminated or illuminate upon approach. The graphics are great. Flow control did not seem to do a lot, but will explore further.The DTV has been in for over 12 years. No issues and I purchased an open box unit (controller and keypad).Hoping for same results for this Anthem system.

We are remodeling our Master Bathroom and chose to have a digital control! We are excited to see how it will work! My Husband and I love technology, so this will be our 1st!

Kohler has digital valves are not interoperable. You would think that Kohler would make devices that allow you to expand expand existing systems without completely replacing previous components. But no... DTV, DTV+, Prompt, and Anthem are not compatible. So if you are thinking of buying Kohler - go elsewhere.
