Blew out in one day, do not recommend at all. Turned off for night time went to turn on next morning and none of them worked. Do not recommend

Great heat bulb for lower basking platforms
The 80 watt heat bulb is great. I moved my slider to a larger tank and the 50 watt was not enough heat anymore and the 100 watt was way too hot, so we got the 80 watt and it is giving him a nice warm basking spot. It works great and I recommend for 40 gallon breeder tanks if your basking platform is lower.

Olive the turtle really enjoyed these!
I work at an animal shelter and we had a summer camp recently. We had an abandoned red eared slider turtle at the shelter and wanted to have it be a part of the camp. I couldn't move the heat lamp from the reptile enclosure so I needed to get a new one for Olive. This one was recommended by our reptile expert and I was very impressed by the quality of heat with this lamp and so was Olive. Olive ended up getting adopted by one of the campers and I gave him this lamp to take home. He's told me that it's still working perfectly and that Olive still loves it. The best part is that because it doesn't emit any light, the kid can keep it on all night in his very air conditioned house.

company doesn't stand by their product
I bought two of these lights on January 2nd I received them on January 3rd on January 10th they both went out stay away from these lights
