Good, but not perfect for me
The Speks Helix Fidget Toy is a fun and unique desk accessory that’s great for relieving stress or staying focused during work. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and the twisting motion is oddly satisfying and keeps my hands busy during meetings or brainstorming sessions. The magnetic aspect is a nice touch, adding an extra layer of interaction. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can be a bit tricky to figure out at first, and the magnets aren't as strong as I’d hoped for more complex shapes. Still, it’s a great addition to my workspace and a perfect conversation starter!

Super Fun But Loud
These are great and super fun to play with. They seem like a simple design but allow you to do a lot of creative things with them, and you can either play with them intentionally or absentmindedly. If you make them into a spiral shape they hold together well enough to be kind of springy, you can make four circles and loop them together, put them in a spiral and roll them across the desk, make a hook shape to pick other ones up, etc. Also sticking them to other metal objects is fun because of the semicircle shape. The magnets are quite strong but you can also open and close segments with one hand (however, if you put the magnets on your lip or something, they *can* pinch and hurt!).The one thing that I kind of dislike is that they're plastic instead of a stiff silicone or something. This does make them keep their structure a bit more but also they can be quite loud, it's not loud to the point where you'd distract yourself but in a school or office setting you'd need to be very intentional when clicking them together so it's not too loud. They seem durable though and haven't had any damage with dropping them (though typically the magnets come apart). For use with one hand I had/have fun with one circle (two pieces) and spinning one side around so it keeps clicking. The magnets are strong enough where if you're holding one side the other can spinning freely on the magnet and not fall off. You can also have multiple people play with a section each.I like to store them upright in the spiral shape but they can also fit in a pocket easily, one segment (two pieces) is a little wider than a pencil at its thickest point so it's relatively flat in a pocket. The whole set can also fit well if they're in circle form or otherwise relatively flat.I will note that the magnets are strong enough to (temporarily) turn a laptop off if held too close!Overall, very fun and worth a shot.

Meh
This didn’t end up being the material I thought it would be so it feel very cheap and clunky. I wouldn’t buy these again and instead I would stick with this brands other fidgets… this was a miss for this company

Specks Does It Again
Specks is my preferred brand of fidget, I really appreciate the quality, creativity, and consistency of their brand in a sea of samey products. Seeing the other reviews, I can understand why people would feel like the plastic is cheap. It’s very lightweight which, conversely for me, is awesome for a one-handed fidget and the magnets are strong enough to hold the pieces together without them falling apart. I tried to squish and break the individual pieces and despite this treatment all of them held up very well, I would not be afraid to hand this to a toddler. I would be more worried about them losing the individual pieces than the pieces being broken. I love the color scheme. The colors are very saturated and consistently shaded through each piece. Some people might think that the price is somewhat expensive for the product, but I appreciate that Speks are things that I can bring into an adult work space and not be immediately pegged as neurodivergent.

Not worth it in my opinion
Feels cheap and not really satisfying because of the light plastic matirial and not so strong magnets

Helix is another great fidget from Speks
If you have tried any of the Speks fidgets then you probably agree that Speks makes some of the best! I love the quality of Speks products. The feel substantial when handling. The magnetic element and ability to create and manipulate countless shapes is very satisfying! The one we tested is the Plasma color. It looks like there will be additional color ways available to add to your collection of Helix. Highly recommended.
