Crazy John

You can't put this book down once you start reading it. I have a cousin who is a priest in Northern Greece. He went to Athens one day and tracked down the author of this book. He wanted to know if this was a true story. The author said that it was indeed a true story, but he changed the names in the book to protect the identity of the actual people in the book. I highly recommend this book. I even bought extra copies to give to a few friends. I won't give my original copy away, because I just won't.

This is must read! I adored Crazy John so much so that I purchased it for more than a dozen of my friends and family. They, too, loved it and have purchased it for others! Crazy John is a sweet and simple true story that you just do not want to put down. The love that this "fool for Christ" spread in his small community is inspirational, heart warming and thought provoking. It leaves your heart in a beautiful place!

Worthwhile read for any Orthodox Christian. Some have called it light reading. It was a quick read but the book is full of examples of a man who truly lived and breathed Christ. This book contains much for pondering. Crazy John was a man full of unwavering faith, faith that he knew could move mountains.

This is one of the most delightful and inspiring Orthodox Christian books I've read. It is a quick read, it is about a saint alive in our time, and it is fun.
