Phifer 3000016 48X100 Char FBRGL Screen, Black,Gray

Rescreened about 35 screens. Phifer 3000019 36X100 Char FBRGL Screen is easy to work with. You can cut it with scissors or razor blade. I did final trim with a box cutter. We went with this screen where there is no direct sun on the windows because we did not want the windows to be dark. East and west windows were covered with Pfifer Super Solar Screen. In hindsight, I likely would have gone with Tuffscreen or Petscreen. for more durability. You can figure about 30 minutes per screen. Find a flat place to work.

The screen had a run in one of the sections I cut like you would see in a woman’s hose which is very annoying to view and I didn’t have enough screen to replace the 4’ X 8’ section. Not pleased with that defect!

Arrived on time, easy to work with, sturdy (i.e., doesn't rip easily), uniform black color but still lets through a reasonable amount of light. Not giving highest marks only because there was a defect in one place that would have led to a rejection of one panel had I not been feeling too lazy to do that (non-uniform spacing of one of the cross-threads)--not terrible, but it was noticeable..

We used this screen to replace worn out screen it was exactly what we expected and matched the screens we have.

This material was too light weight for covering large 4’ x 7’ panels that do not use splines. Heavier weight material that was less prone to stretching would have been better for this project.

Product was delivered as soon as I hung up the phone. Just kidding, it arrived 2 days later and was just as described. Much better value than hardware stores. We rescreened our back porch and it looks awesome.

Easy to work with. Looks nice. Did the job.

Works great to replace the cheap screen the builder used initially.
