Dog Water Fountain, 5L/169oz Pet Water Fountain with Transparent Design and 3 Filters, Dog Water Bowl Dispenser with Quiet Pump, Ideal for Dogs, Cats and Multi-pet households

This a great extra large pet fountain! We have a household of both cats (5) and dogs (2), and all of them like drinking from this fountain. The water pools in the top basin and then flows into a larger basin. Whether an animal likes drink from the flow or the pool, all bases are covered with this fountain. The large clear reservoir allows you to see how much water is the fountain and how much it is filling as you refill it. The motor from the pump has a light hum, so it is best used in an area that that small hum wouldn't be disturbing. The flowing water is quiet. Assembly is very easy and extra filters are provided. It is entirely made of plastic and easy to clean. The neutral color blends well with most decor. The fountain is very nice and high quality, it was packaged well and the instructions are easy to follow. If you have multiple pets, this is a great choice!

We currently have 2 large dogs an 18+ year old cat. For several years we have been using a 2 gallon Petsafe water fountain. It works “okay” but had 2 big drawbacks: 1) The waterfall gets really loud and annoying after about a week of use and it needs to be cleaned often to keep the noise level. This has something to do with the water flow being reduced as the filters get dirty and the water stops hitting the “sweet spot” or diffuser area; and 2) Our old cat wants to drink from with waterfall, but it’s a struggle to reach it because of the size of the bowl. For whatever reason she doesn’t want to just lap up the water from the bowl.Now, we’ve been using this new pet fountain for about 2 months. The dogs took to it quickly (but they are not too picky) and the cat did too. The cat seems to like drinking from the shallow bowl/plate surface. And the best part is that this fountain is soooo much more quiet than the 2 gallon Petsafe fountain. Thus far I’ve just had to keep it filled (more water capacity would be nice) and I’ve washed off the filters a few times, but have yet to replace them. It is very well designed and I like how the water is passively filtered was water drains from the bowl and into the storage area.Bottom line is that I would certainly recommend this fountain to a friend or family member. And the price is much lower that the $65 spent on the other fountain, which now sits dry in the garage.

This is an excellent fountain, especially for multi-pet homes. It is bigger than what it looks in the picture. My torti cat is 19lbs, so the fountain looks tiny compared to her, but it is not. 3-4 "normal" sized cats or 2-3 small dogs could all drink at one time from it. We have always used fountains here and will never go back to traditional bowls. My cats and dog consume sooo much more water with fountains than traditional bowls. There are several things that I really like about this particular fountain though. For starters it is silent. There is no splashing sounds from the fountain and you can not head the motor running AT ALL. There are some fountains that make a splashing sound when the water hits, but this one does not. I really like that the base is clear so you can see where the water level is and if it needs to be filled up. It is super easy to assemble/disassemble for cleaning. There is enough space to be able to thoroughly clean out everything. It comes with 6 replacement cartridges & filters, but when you run out of those, they are relatively inexpensive to buy. I do recommend changing them accordingly (every 30 days). I normally change mine every 3 weeks, but I have 4 cats and a small dog.This is definitely an excellent waterer at a great price. If you are debating on swapping to a fountain, do it!

The media could not be loaded. I have both a house cat and a puppy that use this fountain. I have tried many other types of fountains in the past but this one is BY FAR my favorite one! It is so awesome that it holds over a gallon of water. My puppy is about 7 months old and he drinks SO MUCH WATER I can't even believe it, but this fountain keeps up! The filters are ultra easy to install and they keep the water so clean that it's as fresh as the first day after cleaning all the time!The other thing that I love the most about this fountain is just how easy it is to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. It's so easy that I was able to assemble it in 15 seconds or less, and disassembly was nearly the same. I really like that the pump comes apart into many pieces for easy cleaning, but then snaps right back together again in a breeze!Cleaning the fountain is also really fast and easy! I soak the pump parts for about 10 minutes in hot soapy water, stick a bottle brush inside the pump and the only 1 plastic tube that runs the water up to the fountain, a quick soaping of the basin and top, then DONE! I've had fountains in the past that took upwards of 20+ minutes to clean due to complicated plastic tubing that made for a cute fountain but a nightmarishly long cleaning process.There's not much that I can say to recommend improvements for this water fountain. It's quite, pretty, and my animals love it. It comes with 3 replacement filters and pre-filters when you order it and it's so easy to maintain. If I could rate this fountain higher than 5 stars I would!

So far it is nice. Pretty easy to set up. The pump is quiet and the dog has used it. It holds a lot of water (more than we typically have in the bowl). I haven't seen the cat use it yet, but I'm sure he will. It is just a little bigger in footprint than the old bowl we used.I am concerned about how easy it will be to refill and clean, but it seems like it will be easy. If it is too much of a hassle I'll have a hard time keeping up with it.I'm using this in an RV so I have an outlet at the end of the island for it to plug into which makes it super convenient. If I didn't have that I probably wouldn't have bought the unit.If I remember, I'll try to update in a few months because the real rest isn't the setup but how well it lasts.
