It’s hard to find colbalt blue mascara. I was happy to find this one . Works great for me. Will definitely be buying more.

I confess I may not be getting the full effect of this mascara, having not had a chance to test it under a UV light. It comes in a range of neon colours which are designed to glow under UV light. I opted for the purple which is quite a light shade, just deeper than a hot pink. I’d have preferred something a little but darker but the photos are fairly accurate so I can’t really complain. This is priced at £9.99 at time of review. In my experience, with this type of novelty product I always expect to sacrifice some of the quality of the basic version, and this mascara was in keeping with my experience. The colour was a bit hit and miss and doesn’t always show up as you might expect, usually taking a few coats to really pop, and I wouldn’t have considered it “waterproof” despite the listing. It’s fine for something a bit different, and perhaps the UV light would change my mind, but it’s not something I would go out of my way for.

This UV neon mascara is in pink. It is rather bright . The mascara itself is a bit of lumpy. I wish there some more instructions or details on it as I am not sure whether it is safe to use on my eyes as it contains UV sensitive pigment. I would say it is a good idea but if you have sensitive eyes, you should test out before using it.
