Very slim and not much content in this book, so called. I even missed this in the package and thought it was missing it is so small!

Very disappointing! 22 pages of general fast info and far too little on practice.

I really didn’t find this book tremendously helpful. Also the book is very short. Perhaps the author should have waited until the other parts of her book were ready to be published, maybe with the additional pieces it would have been what I was looking for.

I know of no other Yoga Nidra teaching guide in existence that has the same scope, clarity, history, detail and brevity of this compilation. In one day, you are now given the ability to grasp a new teaching tool. The science and art of Yoga Nidra undoubtedly holds the power to transform the world. HIGHLY recommended that you spend your daily coffee money instead on something that will give back to you endlessly in the years to come.

I was Excited to receive this book! All of the reviews spoke highly of it. However, upon arrival of this book (nay, pamphlet) I was extremely disappointed. The author loosely describes what Yoga Nidra actually is and offers a vague outline for leading an actual nidra. Infact, the author continually suggests “checking” out other authors books in the subject of the reader is curious about said subject and wishing to deepen our knowledge. Of course we are! Hence the reason anyone would purchase this so called book. My advice, skip buying this and buy the books mentioned in this book (which show up as suggested reading in Amazon searches on nidra). Two big thumbs down

This book has a filthy, inappropriate “urban novel” in the middle of it. An entire short story that has nothing to do with yoga or yoga nidra. Do NOT buy this book! And definitely do NOT buy it for a gift for anyone, they will be shocked and possibly offended. Then suddenly when the short story ends the Nidra book starts again. No idea if I received the “whole book” or not because of this nasty story in the middle.Note - I requested a replacement. If it turns out that this was a misprint, I will amend the review. If not, there will be another HORRIBLE review!

This book is really useful. I read it during my 300hr YTT and was able to learn how to guide a yoga nidra class. I would recommend this book whether you are a yoga teacher or a yoga student looking to deepen your practice.
