The magnet strength is ok, but not great. I have a larger chef's knife, and it wont hold it. But it did hold the rest of my knifes and freed up considerable drawer space. It also makes the knifes readily accessible, so a good purchase.

First of all the good stuff; for the money, this is a pretty decent product. Does what it says on the tin. It's robust, has strong magnets, and is simple enough to install. It works.My problem with these stainless steel type of magnetic knife holders - and I didn't think about it before ordering - is that they will end up scratching your knives. Think about it; you have steel scraping against steel. After only a few minutes of testing, I managed to put quite a lot of scratches into the holder itself and some fine scratches on one of my knives. If you have very hard Japanese knives you might get away with it, but for softer European-type knives just be prepared for possible scuff marks.I won't be sending this back as the price was reasonable (with a discount) and the problems are ones that I should really have thought about myself beforehand. I'll use the rack for holding screwdrivers etc. instead, and for my kitchen knives, I've ordered a wooden magnetic rack.

Nice looking product but 10inch is not very big for hanging knives would recommend a longer one.

I already have another of these, they are an excellent, convenient and safe way to store kitchen knives

Ours is not fully magnetic from end to end. The last 1 1/2” of the rack is not magnetic. So we can’t use it for all of our scissors. They fall off. On a good note, it came with a adhesive strip to hand without screws. Will likely have to replace with superior product, so the adhesive will allow taking it down and not having hopes in wall.

Easy to put up, really good magnet and holds my knifes up well.Look really nice in my kitchen
