Just what I needed

My primary reason for buying this was for the SSD memory as they are always faster loading and better for a travelling computer. My previous computer (HP Pavilion 8gb Ram 1Tb memory) was never as fast as this and was getting very temperamental after only 2 years of life.I had to accept a few "Cons" with this computer, Firstly the limited memory capacity, secondly only one USB port, and thirdly no RJ45 connector. That said probably the average or student user would probably not require more memory or connections.So to add to this computer i have also purchased a 1Tb SSD drive and a USB "C" fitting multi adaptor to accommodate my additional requirements.Of course with these additions this makes the whole deal about another 125-00 gbp but its still cheaper that the equivalent 12Gb ram 1Tb SSD computer on the market. Most people may not require as much memory or extra ports.Now I have a superb compact OTG computer which is very light and compact which i can just pick up and go.In use it is fast and multitasking is no problem. Im not a fan of mouse pads so use a wireless mouse which uses the only USB port for its receiver. (Hence i need more ports)The "C" port on the left hand side of the keyboard is the new master outlet for almost all new peripheries. You can connect adaptors for more USB,SD cards,HDMI, etc.On internet use of Skype or similar apps i found the camera adequate and the sound very good.The keyboard is full size edge to edge and backlit, but no side number pad.The screen is top quality and movies load and play superbly.I recommend this.

I'm really impressed with this laptop and also the support service provided by CHUWI. The screen is absolutely amazing, it runs as fast as my 4 year old i7 dell lattitude with an ssd and 8gb ram. Sound is way better too. The laptop feels premium and has what i can only describe as a a petrol effect metal shell where you can see multiple colours at certain angles. Battery life is good, picks up wifi just as good as my dell and feels special when you are using it VS the dell that just feels boring. My only issue was that Windows would not activate. I emailed the vip customer care address and had a reply within 24hrs, the first fix didnt work so I emailed again and within 6 hours they replied and solved my issue. I honestly wasn't expecting such a fast response and such friendly service. Super impressed. Absolute bargain.

This laptop was faulty. I started the return process but was unable to get any further with it as UPS were supposed to collect. There was no option to send back myself. No one turned up to collect it and the return window has now closed. I would like for someone to get in touch please.

Positives+ Lovely 1440p display. Colours are nice, viewing angles very good and the overall picture is very sharp, especially at it's native setting. The bezel is pretty slim too which is always nice.+ Backlit keyboard. Only has two brightness levels but does the job fine. There simply aren't many, if any, laptops around this price point that have a backlit keyboard.+ Powerful enough for everyday tasks. Google, YouTube, Netflix... All run fine on this machine. I was afraid that the processor might hold it back but it seems to do the job just fine.+ Nice looking. Looks more expensive than it is.Negatives- Mushy keyboard. While the backlighting is a nice feature, the typing experience on it as average at best. It feels a bit cheap, but nothing too bad.- Trackpad also leaves something to be desired. But I came from using a Razer 13 Stealth Laptop, which has an amazing trackpad, so for most people the one of this Chuwi will be more than acceptable.Overall, I'd recommend it, though I've not used it much at all as of yet and my opinion may change in due course. But as of right now, I'd give it 3 and a half stars out of 5 if it was possible.

Well pleased with this purchase . Bought for video creation purrs through the task .Well priced .£300 cheaper than named brand .Great performance.

The media could not be loaded. this tiny thing really hits hard like some of i3 devices. i was surprised that it doesnt lag at all for my use. i am only useing it for youtube at minimum of 1440p at all times and it plays like its nothing. it handles 4k like a champ aswell. if you dont know, this is the same screen that you find in huawei laptops which are close to 1000 pounds. colours are proper acurate and brightness is more than enough for a proper lit room. oh man this screen is stunning. usb 3 is fast. it comes with normal charger but if u have a 12volt PD charger lying arround then you can even charge it with usb c.for 350 pounds you getting 12gb ram 256 fast ssd and MOST IMPORTANTLY A STUNNING 1440p DISPLAY and if you still gonna nitpick (engage in fussy or pedantic fault-finding) then theres nothing that gonna please you mate...!

I bought this laptop back in January and just yesterday my speakers died, according to the laptop settings there are no speakers at all. Luckily I have a blue tooth speaker to use instead but still not the point! I cannot find out how to contact the seller to see if the laptop is covered by a warranty. It would be helpful to speak to someone!
