Just got my new replacement and it’s great.

The cuff that came with my generic BP monitor just plain hurts, and leads to poor readings. This cuff seems to be a little bit better made and it comes with enough adapters that you should find one that works with your unit, that is unless you have an Omron unit. None of the adapters would work with my Omron monitor. The adapters are a little difficult to install and remove, but I understand they need to fit tightly to allow for air pressure build up. Still, it makes it hard to try all the adapters, or to switch the cuff from one machine to another. The material the cuff is made of seems to be a little thicker and it's more comfortable to use. It fits better on the arm, and I get more accurate readings on my BP monitor. Its also latex free which is a plus for those with latex allergies. Definitely recommend as long as you don't need it to work with an Omron BP monitor.

This cuff is bigger than the average ones that come with bp machines. It works accurately and it is much better than a too tight cuff that will give you a misleading reading.

Too cumbersome to use.

I have a blood pressure monitor that I use at home, but the arm strap was a little tight for another member of my family. I decided to give this a try and it works great! There are a bunch of different adapters to use, so this should work with many different brands of machines. The strap is larger than the standard one that came with my machine and is comfortable and really easy to use.

I have an Omron BP monitor but the cuff is too small and keeps giving me inaccurate readings. I was able to switch it out for this one and not only am I getting more accurate readings, but it's actually much more comfortable and easy to use. I really wrestled with the Omron but this one is easy to position and tighten with one hand so I don't have to keep readjusting until the machine stops reporting an error. The adaptors make it easy to swap this out for just about any machine's cuff, which makes this a really handy accessory to have. If you have a BP monitor in your first aid kit at work, etc. it would be a good idea to have one of these in the kit to make sure that you can help people of all sizes and not give inaccurate readings.
