TOP NOTCH TEFAL! Fab Performance and Comfort. Excellent!
Buy With Total Confidence. This is so very, very good to use. It makes a chore..... well, less of a chore.(Please forgive me if there are spelling/grammar errors due to my Dyslexia & Scotopic Sensitivity, thanks)So, I am a "big guy". Younger sports mad, but now "getting on". This is a chunky and satisfyingly "meaty" item and "fits me" good. But I note that it is designed so that a smaller hand will still find the ergonomic design tweaks comfy and safe to hold, just as I do..It has a decent weight to it, which is always satisfying. It has very comfy grip to it that makes it feel great in your hand and not flimsy or cheap & lightweight like a lot of others. It heats up superfast, and the water fill point is BRILLIANT. Good design on the aperture and it is not a "slow fill" one. Just pour the water in at speed and it is fine. The steam is far better than the Tefals I have used before. It really easiy deals with anything from JEANS to Cotton Shirts that need Paper-fold style creases in them.I have temperature fussy fabrics and "branded" clothing like tee shirts that need lower temperature pressing with steam so as not to "melt" the shirts or the emblems etc. This just glides over them without issue and still pumps a damned good level of steam through giving a near professional finish in no time atall and no effort. The Irons "weighy" feel belies the fact that it is not heavy to use, BUT it does not need a big amount of effort to remove even difficult creases post-wash. They have got the balance so perfectly designed on this between a great feel and great performance and being a "substantial" feeling product too.I am a big fan of the Auto-Off too as my Son forgets to unplug the Iron al the time. Now I wont have to worry about it or Pay for wasted energy when he does that.......my last Tefal lasted 8 years and is still going, but I decided to treat myself to a higher capacity and heavier steam rate Iron as my laundry mix has changed as my Son has grown to his colege and Uni' years now and he practically LIVES in jeans now and thoise emblazond Tee Shirts so I liked the idea of a versatile Iron like this one and it is really a fab choice I am happy with to say the least. My cotton shirts are an absolute breeze with this Iron & my time at the board is definitely far less as this is far better than my older onbe and that was amazing to be fair.As a rule, I go with the "ain't broke don't fix it", and my old Tefal is still better than most other Irons, but I am feeling secure in buying this newer Tefal product as I feel confident it will last a decade or more, considering the last one is still going strong after 8 years.....(Tap water filling is always a good thig too).Buy with Confidence. This is a TRULY great product and oozes quality and performance.I am always stunned that the Amazon Warehouse poducts are so hugely lower in price and have barely a tiny mark on them. This item had a cosmetic scratch 9mm long. FRANKLY, I would scratch it more than that in the first couple of weeks of usage.Getting a HIGH END electronic item from a great Brnad Name that I trust at a hugely reduced price is simply fab.Great Value For Money :-)

Very good products
Fast delivery, was bit surprised as the amazon box wasn't marked as fragile and the polysterene protection was bit broken when opended the package. The iron seemed to be in a good condition though. It glides beautifly and despite of many reviews referring to it as extremely heavy, it doesn't give me too heavy impression. You expect a sturdy iron to be on the heavy side, but it's nothing you would normally notice, unless you had an uber light and small iron before. Did 2 hours of ironing and the weight wasn't an issue at all.The temperature dial is bit tough to operate when trying to reduce the temperature, when increasing the temperature, the dial moves smoothly. The spray button on the bottom side of the handle is not an iessue either. If you have a normal grip and not holding on to the handle for your dear life, then you don't even know it's there and if it ever comes under your finger involontarily, you'll soon learn to instinctively avoid it.Bit worrysome is the sound, although the machine itself is very quiet, it does tiny cracking sounds about every 15 seconds, and the temeprature control light is on and off quite often. This might be because of the iron trying to even out the temperature of a soleplate to keep it on a steady setting, or so I hope. I noticed a few occasional drops of water around 15 items in the first ironing. The drops were colourless so didn't bother me much and was nowhere near the standard leak where you get dirty liquid mixed with lime scale on your fabrics. Will see how easy will be the cleaning and the maintenance. Not sure how to validate the warranty. Tefal offers 10 years warranty on their products, but should anything ever go wrong, I'm not entirely sure how I would go about the claim. After first try I consider it a very good product for extremely reasonable price in comparison with other irons that are out there. My previous Tefal iron had only 2200w power and very basic soleplate that good badly dirty after a couple of years of usuage. It used to take me over 3h to through a pile of laundry. This new Tefal iron did the job on the comparable pile size in something over an hour which makes me think, I will probably never buy again an iron under 3000w.

Best iron I’ve purchased
Very good iron, high steam generator, good for ironing out heavy creases in clothing with little effort, slightly heavy to handle but, overall, I couldn’t ask for a better iron. Also, the scale collection at the bottom of the iron means there are no water stains (the brownish type looking ones you get with cheaper irons) coming through the steam holes and marking your clothing. Highly recommended.

Heavy iron
It steams well and irons well a nice length of lead but somehow the lead is positioned so it catches and rolls back what your ironing maybe it's too long or the leas weight is causing this can be annoying. The dial is difficult to read and seems it always has to be on maximum to get creases out. It's an OK iron but nothing special it's pretty heavy so your need a strong wrist.Amazon offered this to me as a special deal only to find it was ten pounds cheaper in curry's after I bought it.

Great effective ironing
Wow at last a fantastic iron that does not job really well. Good grip....heavy duty but not heavy ...the stand is well product designed and the base support the iron when not in use. Steaming is a breeze no drips of water ...the scame ean system easy to use . The electric cable is certainly ideal and long enough. If you want your ironing to be bliss then this is the only one you need to give you a quality finish to your clothes
