Works great to keep cooking odors in the kitchen
This plastic door works GREAT!!!! I have used it for two months to keep my kitchen odors from the rest of the apartment and it has worked perfectly. The magnets are strong, but not difficult to open and the plastic feels durable. It was very easy to install and made well.

WOW! Really insulated and works well
The dogs have no problem going in and out. One is an 80 lb lab mix and the other is a 10 lb yorkie. The closure is strong and it keeps the cool in and the heat out. Highly recommended

Portable Door Plastic Insulation
When I received the insulated door I opened it up immediately. It simply looked like any piece of plastic and I set it aside for about a month. Then, it was getting just too hot in this travel trailer oven that I decided it needed to go up. It was pretty simple and everything needed was there. The height was too much so I hemmed it up with tape. For me, who's in and out all day, it holds up well. The Velcro is some of the best but enough tacks are included. Listen when they say hang the middle up higher than the sides. It'll close well for you. Sometimes I have to adjust it but that's because I've hemmed it up. It could possibly be cut to adjust it to size. But, it covers my door well. I didn't need any tools and only used what was provided. Afterward, it did make a difference in holding the cool air in. It's on the entry door coming in from the outside. However, if you're living in a oven, you'll need a combination of tools to keep cool. This is one of them. It also has a design that seems to be like a "fly eye view" when looking in or out. Other than that, it's a clear, blurred view. The thickness of the material seems to be durable. Anyway, I'll try to come back in winter and tell you that side of the story.

TOTALLY WORKS, with a caviate
This works way better than I expected. I have 6 exterior doors on this house, only two face East and West, and one is leading into the garage. The other, OH BOY... THAT THING JUST LEAKS AND TRAPS HOT AIR into this house. I had a summer of 4 broken AC units, and was trying to run fans in a manner to exhaust heat, but that created a vacuum that was sucking heat through the back door, which I sealed to heck and back with silicone strips, over all the edges, and between the door and door frame trying to create the tightest of seals. BUT THAT DOG DOOR, the one I spent $400 on since it had 3 flaps and was supposed to be for extreme weather and heavily insulated. SPOILERS, it's not the two vinyl flaps are permanently deformed and just leak hot air. Thanks PETSAFE.ANYWAYS, at my wits end, I bought this. Thinking this wouldn't work. IT TOTALLY DOES, and decently. I had to buy the split down the middle one, so it would be dog door friendly, since I put the dog door in the middle of the back door. We'll get to install later. Now, living on the coast of Mississippi, during this summer's hotspell, this ain't a miracle worker. BUT opened that back door, after finally selling my RV so I can buy a new AC unit, I couldn't really feel the unforgiving heat. Then I broke that magnetic seal, and BAM, assaulted by the heat. HOLY COW. Was quite impressed. Like if you put your hand about 6in from it, you can feel the heat seeping slowly, but it's not nightmareish.INSTALL TIPS:1) if you're not super anal about aesthetics, BUY 2in WHITE VELCRO STRIPS for your door frame you're putting this on. This will help you fix tension on the door, adjust for manufacturing errors, and just give you a lot of wiggle room. They are nice enough to give you 2x wide hook strips, so there's some give, which puts the tape width at about 1in. BUT I found 2in was the perfect width for my door frame, and it has worked super well for me. I have to staple it on due to MS heat just destroying the glue and it would remove the hook side from the frame when I was trying to make adjustments to this item.2) Pets will tear right through this no problem. So, if you have pets, I'd invest in pet scratch tape and depending on dog size, run it about 4ft up it, though new pup is massive compared to my other two which are also Large breeds, but he's like 28in to my Zelda's 25 and my Trappers 23. So, he needs it at 5ft high. Each side is about 17in wide, in between the black or white border. I found you only really need like 12in wide tape, if you center installed your door like mine. Would probably use the "WET APPLICATION METHOD" for this, so that you can move and flatten both sets of vinyl and squeegee out the liquid. This will also make for a more aesthetic look.Conclusion:100% recommend, easy to install, inexpensive if they tear, since they will, but was shocked by how well this worked. When I cracked that seal, to go into the 110 FEEL out doors, it was a painful assault, thanks to this barrier. It really works and I'm impressed. Would love to see them thicken up the vinyl a bit for us dog owners, but that's pretty much all they need to do.

Awesome cold/draft prevention for my Fifthwheel
Impressed with this draft door covering. Easy to install. Fit my RV door with just enough overlap to stick to the wall. Make sure you clean your wall with alcohol. Not something listed but anything being applied needs a clean surface, alcohol is suggested with other things I've used.I had extra Velcro for both top and sides. I had thumbtacks with the kit but didn't need them. There are also nice little clips front and back that snap to hold both sides open. The magnets are nice and long (measured them at 9 inches) not like ones used in some magnetic screen doors at just a couple of inches. I'm impressed with the product price and quality.

Works great!
Installed this on my elderly mother’s hobby room door because is wheelchair bound and we removed the door. The panels are nice and thick. I removed the door frame and secured it to the walls with the adhesive then reinstalled the frame back over it. She unfortunately smokes in that room and also runs her space heater. This keeps both the smoke and heat contained to that area while still allowing her easy access. The cat has punctured it in a few places but it he damage has been minimal due to it’s durability. Very pleased with the product!

Glue not good
Fits perfect on my door but I did notice another viewer say the glue wasn't good and to make sure you had a good glue on hand. Glad I took that person's advice. Supplier definitely needs to get better glue. There was also paper stuck to part of the tape so it took a bit of time to get that off. Poor quality control. The glue is "awful" on this panel. I also used a sturdier tack than what they sent. As far as sturdy, too soon to tell. If it survives my two dogs going in and out of it and winds I'd say great...for now that is why I gave it 4 stars for durability. Seems like it will be but time will tell.

Good insulation of the dining room
We have used it between the kitchen and dining room for a few months. The magnetic sealing power of the two plastic pieces stays strong. It has saved energy for air conditioning during the summer and we expect it to do the same in the winter with the electric floor heater.
