I have the beginnings of arthritis in my hands and sometimes struggle to open lids and bottles. I like the fact that this is very unobtrusive. At the moment I have only applied it using sticky pads, although I’m not sure if it may eventually need fixing with screws. When I purchased this I thought it had serrated teeth on both sides, but it actually only has them on one side, this is my fault for not reading properly and to be fair it does the job, I’m just not sure how durable it will prove to be. One issue I have found is that it is not possible to open cartons of fruit juice/milk due to the top of the carton being higher than the bottle, however I would still recommended this.

As someone with arthritis I need help with opening jars and bottles. The problem with this device is that I have found it difficult to find a suitable surface to fix it. I can fix it upside down or horizontally, when I can open difficult bottles and jars of infinitely variable sizes, but it is then hard to stop the contents, particularly liquids, from coming out.
