USB C Hub, 6-in-1 USB-C Dongle with 4K HDMI, USB 3.0 Ports and SD/Micro SD Card Reader, Multiport Type C Adapter for MacBook Pro Air, Mac M1, iPad Pro

I've recently moved from an Android phone to an iPhone and I needed to transfer some larger files across via the microSD card. This USB-C hub was perfect for the job and performed admirably. There are not many USB-C docks out there that have the microSD card slot.My macbook air also only has 2 USB-C ports, so this hub provides some welcomed additional capacity whilst being portable enough to not take up much space when travelling.

It all works with my Lenovo Yoga 7i. Do remember though that there is no power supply pass through and no USB C data port on the device, only a problem if that's needed. I am unable to check any data rates for any of the ports, but in practical terms I found it to work just fine.Interestingly, when connected to my TV, via the ESWO using HDMI, I could get sound from the TV, but no simultaneous sound from the laptop speakers. Using the 2nd of the 2 USB C ports on the laptop the converse was the case - no TV sound but with sound on the laptop. A nice laptop feature I thought.

NIce little device - well made, with a quality weighty feel and does what it says on the tin.I’ve used this device with a Macbook M1 with the following, all connected at the same time:• projector, connected to the HDMI socket• laser pointer dongle, USB• Memory stick, USB• Micro SD cardIt worked flawlessly, running the projector, responding to the pointer, streaming music from the SDcard and showing a Powerpoint presentation with videos from the USB drive.It became very slightly warm but nothing worrying or unusual, the metal construction seemed to dissipate the heat very well.I prefer these dongles that attach via a cable rather than plug directly into the side of the Macbook as they don’t suffer from “wobble” - I’ve known those wobbly connections to crash the Macbook, this does NOT suffer from that issue.One slight downside of this particular device is it doesn’t have a USB C connector to power the Mac via pass-through charging - only an issue if you’re still using the single USB C Macbook.Overall, a great little thing, nicely made, works well even under heavy use.

Fast shipment through Amazon Prime.Nice little gadget that allows you to drive multiple devices, but be careful, this has not got a local power supply, all power is through the C connector of the laptop so do not expect to connect something to every port and it will work. But this product does not pretend to be able to, if you want that you need a docking station which has local power.This is a great tool to have in your laptop bag that allows you to connect various items. I have connected by Wireless dongle for Mouse and Keyboard, another dongle for my conferencing device both work without issue. When I connected my VDU through the HDMI, the screen worked fine but I started to get lag on the mouse, this would mean I have pushed past the power available to me.Again this has lots of ports to connect into, but this is to give you flexibility, it is not to allow you to run every port at the same time.In Summary, it gives the flexibility that I would need and something I will keep in my Laptop case for when I am out and about.

I ordered this as we have a laptop, that doesn't have an HDMI port, and we wanted to connect it to an external monitor. The extra USB ports and card readers are a welcome bonus. It's mainly my partner that uses this device and she's very happy with it. It successfully connects to the monitor, feels well built and durable, and it's great to have those extra ports.

Received the dongle, very similar to others I have tried being a short 6 inch or so USB-C cable and a metal finish to it.Works fine connected to my MacBook M1, and allows the various ports to be used.One thing that it does miss is a USB-C port for power delivery (PD), as others do, which means that if you are using a Macbook that has a limited number of USB-C ports, such as the original M1s then you can only have this connected as well as your power USB-C to the MacBook.The inclusion of HDMI does bypass this if you want to use that connection for an external monitor, in my case I have a USB-C monitor, so would ideally need USB-C PD on the dongle.If this isn't a problem for you then the included ports, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, SD and MicroSD card as well as HDMI offer a good range for on the go, and considering the battery life of Apple silicon MacBooks you can probably get away without needing a PD port on it.

I got this to use with my android phone (Samsung galaxy note 9) despite there being no mention in the description of compatibility with an android system or phone devices. I've used similar dongles like this before so I thought there was a good chance it'd work and it does! It works fine.I connected the dongle to my phone and plugged in my mouse, keyboard and pendrive and there were no problems. I also inserted one of my SanDisk micro SD cards into the micro SD slot and that was working fine too, though can't comment on the SD lot as I don't own any.The dongle is small (measuring 12L x 3W cm) and light but doesn't feel cheap thanks to it's aluminium finish. The downside for me is the lack of USB-C port to allow my phone to be charging while using the dongle so I will be using it mainly for transfering files.

I wanted this item to use with a laptop that has little connectivity to attached USB devices and SD cards.This is a very compact device with 3 USB ports - 2 are USB 3 and slots for Standard SD and micro SD.Laptop finds the device as soon as it's plugged in (with a device or card attached) and works well transfer seems as fast as a USB stick so no problems. It seems very well made but only just got it so no idea on life.It will only plug into a USB C port but you can get adapters cheaply.Handy little device to keep in the laptop bag.
