CADDISMen's Taupe Affordable Breathable Stocking Foot Wader

I have gone through lots of waders being an avid fly fisher for 40 plus years. The last set of (name brand) waders I used prior to buying these Caddis waders, leaked in the stocking feet after one outing. These Caddis waders are very light and very "water tight". I am very impressed with the quality of construction, design and fit. and NO Leaks! I have used them several times and so far, so good. The fit in particular is impressive. This product offers more style, if you can believe that, in a wader. Plenty of movement, comfort, and yet they don't make you look like Humpty Dumpty!

I fly fish with the sort of people who laugh at the idea of waders that cost this little. They spend $400, minimum, and even that they regard as "cheap."So these are considered budget waders but these have been in the same water and weeds and brush filled hills on the banks of lone rivers as the $800 waders and THESE came out unscathed and in one piece.I really like these waders. They're really comfortable, fit well, and take a beating.If I could fix one little thing it would be the tightness about the lower calf. But I am also a big guy that doesn't fit clothing well, so to nitpick these waders along those lines seems unfair.The neo attached feet run a little big which, for me, is perfect. I don't want super tight because of both comfort and I count on the tightness to fill up some room in my over sized boot. It's not a ton of extra. They're not a full size too big. Maybe a half size.I am on year two of fishing with these and they have held up to everything including washing and one year left outside in a MN winter. I can't recommend them enough.

I've only used them once so far, but stayed dry and cool on a warmer day. I also took a little tumble on my butt down a somewhat rocky hill, and they held up with just minor surface scratches and no leaks.Only 4 stars because the first time I ordered them, the little pull clip on the ends of the drawstring around the chest popped right off when I pulled on it. I exchanged the waders for new ones, and the new ones did not have the issue.

I have always insisted on using booted waders, however my buddy convinced me to give some stocking waders a try. So trying not to spend a large amount of money I found these and also picked up a pair of Caddis Wader Boots as well. I have to say now, I am never going back to booted waders again. I can latterly wear these things all day and feel completely comfy. I expected these to be poorly made and fall apart quickly like I seen on some other reviews, but if you are like me and you take care of your things then you should have no problems. They fit just a little snug around my crotch area but over all the size fits right.

I have really have enjoyed these. I can fish all day and stay comfortable and dry. The breathable feature is excellent. These waders are feature packed. They come with an easy to use wader belt and built in gravel cuffs. There is a handy front zipper pocket that will hold a cell phone, (pocket is not water proof, so I use a couple of baggies), and there is a space to warm your hands or stow, used line or a used energy bar wrapper. The suspenders on these waders have high quality fasteners and I like that one side connects male to female and the other side is reversed. This set up prevents me from ever getting the suspender straps twisted. The neoprene booties on these waders work well and have kept my feet warm in 50’ water. I have used these five times so far. We fish in rough areas, with some bushwhacking involved and I have had no issues with leaks or snags. No issues at all other than one of the grave cuff coming unhooked from my wader boots occasionally. I have additionally used these a waders a couple of times with an open top kayak and the are comfortable to sit in as well as walk and wade. On one occasion I made a misstep on a big rock and took a quick unplanned “dip” in about three feet of water. The wader belt did it’s job. I was wet on the top, but no water from the wader belt down so I stayed dry. (For safety sake, always wear your wader belt). I have been very pleased with features and quality of these waders. I walk up and down the river banks and create ways to get in and out of rivers. I've used them 6x and they are dirt stained and showing rub wear.

These waiters fit a large man no problem I’m 6’3” and over 300 pounds with a size 13 foot. These fit no problem to get around my 60+” belly but when I bend down they do become snug as expected. All in all these are good waders and I would definitely buy them again. I just have to figure out what to do about putting a proper boot underneath of it comfortably. I’m used to the ones with boots built in. These waiters also are not insulated so don’t expect them to be warm in the winter. they are super thin and good for summer definitely.

Received this in a box that was mangled and the item inside was covered in dog or cat fur.

I am a big guy...6'2'' and 300lbs and these waders were awesome! I fish a lot and put lots of wear and tear on waders. I normally use neoprene waders as these types of waders never fit and do not allow for much flexibility in movement. These were perfect. Roomy and light allowing me to bend stretch and climb with no problems. I was very impressed and will definitely buy these again and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a cost effective solution.

Before you use these waders I would advise that you turn them inside out and examine the seams closely. I did this and found them immaculately taped.... except for one spot where the leg attaches to the boot. At this spot the tape created a sharp crease in the fabric, a crease I had a feeling would wear through in no time. I considered returning them but it was an easy fix so no problem. Otherwise, the fit is very good and they seem to be well made. I've only worn them a handful of times but they are holding up so far.

Light weight and water proof

Was amazed when I got them so quickly. Tried them on right away and they went on without a struggle. Great fit n great feel to them. Will recommend these to all my plus size friends
