Q: I am concerned that the stain used on the wood will bleed if wet and leave marks on my shower floor. Have you experienced this?

After inspecting this stool, it does not appear that they used any stains. Teak is naturally beautiful so it's never needed. They do appear to have used a polyeurethane (or Polycrylic) clear finish which simply seals the wood to prevent water from penetrating the wood. These clear finishes will not bleed.

Q: How well does this work on a plastic shower pan?

It has rubber feet so it should work on a plastic shower pan

Q: What is the height from the floor to the bottom of the lower shelf? I need it to sit over a tall shower door threshold

8 1/2" from floor to bottom of shelf, with ( if you need to know) 7 1/2" clearance between front and rear of legs
