PRO PAD FLAG MOUNT HD AIR WING RFM-RDVM

The price put me off but to be honest, I'm so use to buying cheap china crap I needed a reality check which happened when I opened the box. I have a 2016 Limited CVO so why do I want a 20 dollar cheap mount? I don't. I inspected the finish and was pleased. The flag is thick material and I'll see how long it last. I always use blue loctite for stuff like this. It has lock washers but use blue loctite to be safe. Only thing is, the location is very close to the custom paint so I taped a shop towel around the riser in case I slipped or dropped the fittings. My bike cost 40k and I think I can trust these mounts will stay secure.

These are a little pricey but they are far better than the top flag mounts I have had in the past. These seem to be much stronger and will do move when cruising the highways. Look great on my Ultra.

I keep my motorbike, and thus the Pro-pad rack mount in my garage. So there really is no good reason why the mount and pole should be rusting after a year of use. The attached photo shows the mount and pole rust after being cleaned. My topcase rack is not rusty, so I didn't expect the pro-pad mount to be rusty either.While the pro-pad mount holds up better than any other motorcycle flag mount I've used, I'm disappointed that it started rusting after only one year.
