Simple but fun game
This was a really simple yet fun game for the family (all adults). The production is nice, in a quality box and nicely printed cards with score sheets and pencils, so everything you need is in the box. You have a card with short clues to a word, and they get progressively a little easier and the more clues you need to guess the word, the fewer points you get. They were a good balance of challenging vs easy to keep it competitive and interesting, although I think it would be quite difficult for the younger end of the stated 14+ age range. I do think they missed a trick by not putting this in a more compact box or carrier for travel, as it’d make a great game to take away on holidays, but otherwise a great little game.

Great fun
This game is fun to play. Watching players when you are the reader scramble to get the right numbers is real fun to watch

Quick and easy game to play
This game has a simple enough premise - you have 168 cards each with a different words, and four clues to that word. You place a card in the little cardholder provided, and you move it up one bit at a time to reveal each of the clues. Each player has a piece of paper from the pad and a pencil, and you write down the word you think is the answer in each space. If your first guess is correct, you get 4 point, second guess 3 points, third guess 2 points, and fourth guess 1 point. You play eight rounds, then total up your points to see who has won. What I really liked about this is that if you're playing with just two players, you can both play the game fully - someone just puts the card into the holder without looking at it, then you are both guessing the answers equally. Works well with up to six players too - some of the words can lend themselves to various guesses at the four point stage, which does add an element of luck as well as skill.I've taken off one star, because I feel the price of over £14 is maybe a little on the expensive side for a simple game, which comes in a small box, but you do get a good amount of cards so you'll be able to play this many times before you get through them all.

Codebreakers is awesome!
Codebreakers is awesome! I must've said, "I should have got that!" a million times while playing. If you're up for some challenging fun and a good laugh, Codebreakers is a must for your next game night. You won't be disappointed. A solid five stars from me.

Great party game
This game is about guessing a word. You are given an obscure definition of a word and write your guess down. Then you are given three progressively easier definitions, each one worth less points. There are eight words in total to guess for each game. This is a good party game as the rules are simple and it's easy to play. Pencils and paper are all provided in the game box.We played this on Christmas day at a relative's house and we all had fun. The whole thing probably takes less than 30 minutes from beginning to end but it's fun talking about why you thought that definition applied to the incorrect word you guessed!

Fun game
This is an easy/relaxed game. The gameplay does not take too long, but much fun can be had nonetheless. One needs to guess a word based on the definition received. Then more definitions are given, each worth less points

Appears for younger family, but definitely for 14+ if not older
I got this for my family as we love playing games, my youngest is 11 and after reading the instructions I thought this sounded fun. A card is put into the pocket (card holder shown in photo) without looking at it, then a "Reader" slowly pulls the card out, to the first clue, and the other players have to try and guess what the mystery word is. Then you go to the next clue and so on until you get the answer. As you can see from the pictures, they're not easy so I'd definitely say this is for older teenagers / adults game. I've dropped a star just because it's such a good idea for a family - if I was to play a game with friends / other adults I think there'd be other games I'd play before this, so feel it's an odd age range.I do think it would be a fun game for a large family with mix of ages, I just feel younger children may struggle and lose points. I've tried to put photos of the clues so you can decide it's difficulty for your own audience. I imagine it would be great fun, and I think the price is pretty standard for a game like this (most board / card games are more than this anyway).
