Proper impressive outdoorsy watch
A really high quality and rugged outdoors watch that can take some punishment and has excellent waterproofing. The grey camo pattern is possibly a matter of taste. For me I think it cheapens the look of the watch. I get a lot of use of it when I am out fishing or hiking, but I would probably also wear it day to day if it wasn't for the camo pattern. You will have your own opinion. Other than that its difficult to fault.I expect to get many years use out of this watch.Comes in a robust and luxurious presentation case. Has good luminous face without having to press a button so you can find it in the dark.Oh and last but not least - it keeps good time! (Sometimes I think we forget that is the point)

Who am I to argue with Navy SEALs? A classic diver's watch brought up to date with state of the art technology
I usually wear a Casio Pro-Trek. A chunky great watch with lots of features for when you're exploring the great outdoors. Unfortunately I ruined it on my last holiday, because it wasn't as waterproof as I expected and an ingress of the Aegean destroyed the sensors. Hence I wanted a replacement with similar robust appearance and overall vibe, but which was genuinely waterproof. I dabbled with a Nautica, which was certainly stylish but, with a non-rotating bezel, felt a bit like a diver's watch-lite. This superbly stylish Luminox feels straightaway like it's the real deal and meets all my criteria perfectly. The grey-tone camouflage motif covers the webbing strap and the watch dial and looks terrific. Looks equally stylish when I'm wearing my business suit or chilling out at the beach. Easy push-crown to set date, time and time-zones, making this a perfect holiday / frequent traveller's watch. The permanent gentle glow ("Luminox Light Technology") is a unique feature which adds to the watch's practicality (and fun factor!) and should last a quarter of a century.Arrived securely packed in a robust and luxurious-looking presentation case. The warranty is printed on a credit card sized piece of plastic, which was a nice touch. If it's good enough for Navy SEALs and serious SCUBA divers, who am I to question such a heritage?A wonderful timepiece that looks terrific and gives you a sense of adventure even if you spend far more time pounding a keyboard than being intrepid in the ocean somewhere!

Superb watch, comfortable, rugged, well made, muted grey colour, cries weekend adventurer, rather than desk slave!
I like watches.I like watches a lot and there is a lot to really like about this rugged, well made watch.Forget 100 features on a digital watch, think pure, simple rugged simplicity.I like the grey camouflage look, which gives it a muted tone of acceptability at work, but every time you look at it there is the reminder that lthis watch is happiest outdoors, in rain, snow, surf or sea.I have always worried about watch batteries going and then the seal never being up to its job again, however this watch is supposed to just keep on going, and the glow is rather good.So if you are still not sure, remember who use these watches, divers and people who rely on their watches, if it is good enough for them, then it is good enough (by the bucketload) for me.

Love the quality and design of the watch. Not as keen on the camo strap.
This is s great watch that screams quality from the plush packaging to the goods inside. The watch is really beautifully designed and the face easy to read. Added to this is the unique feature of an innate luminescence that means you can always read it in the dark, and without having to press a button to backlight. Easy to set with a push-crown, and waterproof. If I had one small gripe it would be that to me, the camouflage design of the strap is fine for casual wear, but I would definitely have preferred a smarter, dressier looking strap.
